Being serious, this country is irritatingly conservative at times (using the natural meaning of "conservative", not whatever the **** it means politically now). Still no gay marriage despite obvious public support. Legal recreational pot is a million miles away, it was a struggle to even get it approved for serious medical conditions. Doesn't really matter from a consumer point of view because it's easily obtainable and possession is a misdemeanor on the spot fine. Prositution is a state issue btw and legality varies, but it's fully legal in several states.

Do not move to Darwin.

True it's only two years old but Alberta has become a province of immigrants both provincial and national. We are no longer a province of old white racist farmers.

The left is never going to win the rural areas but thankfully almost everyone lives in cities and those are just not the old PC stronghold they were for 20 years.

We will see in a couple years. If the NDP lose it won't be because the "united right" won it will be because oil prices are still less than $50.

No other Commonwealth nations have the economic prosperity that CANZUK do. You can argue about the morality of not opening borders to poorer countries but it's not exactly unique worldwide. "Racist" is a stretch. Australia has triple the net immigration per capita of the US and a stack of those are nonwhite. Australia is currently around 15% ethnically Asian and projections have us majority Asian by around 2050.
