Autocrats don't lie with their intentions. He meant it when he said lock her up. Same mistake over and over and over again, trump really didn't mean X. Yes he did, stop it.

Anyway, real great freedom country we have now.

a superior tone combined with getting it wrong most of the time is not endearing

Everyone on both sides keeps putting more complexity in trump than he actually has and I admit it's been irritating me. I'm not surprised at all you have the standard bias people have with people that disagree with you. People only remember they disagree thus they are stupid and wrong rather than whatever the actual end result was.

The tone police is a problem with politics and media--really dgaf about screwing everyone as long as you are nice about it. 2p2 has it a little bit.

Saying Hillary didn't get locked up why am I'm get into ****ed with is a lot less complex than jailing Hillary. Especially when he's on record saying he didn't care about her and it was good play to the base.

Trump doesn't know what to say when asked about Hezbollah. His advisers are going to explain to him what his position is tonight. Ha.

He said that during one of those post-victory rallies, didn't he?

Mostly I think Trump, when he's not publicly speaking, works at the level of sophistication you have when you got caught doing something and your friends are huddled together trying to think of a cover story in 10 seconds.

Is Trump ever going to know the slightest bit about any subject? This press conference should be made fun of on TV all night today. He just repeats the same talking points about Obama failing etc over and over again. He literally knows like 1 sentence on every subject.

And he seemed numb & low energy.

This Sessions thing is Comey all over again. The recusal obviously isn't the reason he wants to fire him. He wants to get to Mueller. Just like how Comey was fired over Russia and not over last year's Hilolary stuff. He had trouble defending it with Comey, and will have even more defending getting rid of Sessions. 1) Why did he wait until finding out Mueller is looking at he and his family's $ before airing this so loudly and publicly? 2) He keeps saying Sessions should have told him before being hired, like he could have possibly known. 3) Sessions submitted his resignation to Trump long after his recusal, and Trump refused to accept it. That's going to be hard as hell to justify later on.

If you review 30 plus years of his public communication I do not think you could give him legitimate credit for being informed or knowledgeable on any particular item, process or idea.

At some point, Republicans will have to make an ultimate choice between what is more important. Liking Democracy and the rule of law, or pissing off Liberals.

I'm not optimistic.

gallup 59% disapproval ramussen 58% disapproval

we're getting there, folks.

He's never hit 60 before on any poll afaik

That choice was made a long time ago.

It's the same reason he had comey as FBI director and then wanted to fire him. He brought up how he handled the Hillary stuff during the campaign.

He doesn't g a f about that but he used it when he wanted to. Same with Hillary now. He doesn't care if she goes to jail but he wants people to leave him alone.
07-25-2017 , 04:42 PM
Yup. If she actually got indicted or something then he wouldn't be able to say "what about Hillary tho!"

The base would go wild for about a month on their own. Trump would of course blow **** way out of proportion and turn one month into a year and a half. What about Hillary fades away, but Obama remains.

At some point, the base should smarten up and start realizing that Trump is now next. At another point, nothing will matter. Former > latter?

He doesn't know what to say on any small thing having to do with national security or government. I think he would have trouble trying to explain how a tuna sandwich is made. The dude is a straight up ******.
