tbf, trump has never felt that his debts should be paid or his financial obligations honored. theres thousands of lawsuits and anecdotes that attest to this.

Trump is just a lannister who never pays his debts.

The bank of china owns just under a billion of trump's debt or so, so he's gonna avoid a war there for awhile.

More sanctions on Iran, less on Russia. Hmm.

They could sway a good chunk of R's, but there is a trumpkin block that is going down with the ship. And the chunk of R's that they can control isn't enough to win elections, at least not presidential elections.

LOL isolated? You delusional liberal.

Please tell me what NATO country would turn it's back on an article 5 invocation tomorrow? Canada? UK? France?

if you tell everyone to **** off enough, they probably will, and leave you to it

So name the country please.

Because Theresa May of the U.K. literally threw her fist down in Parliament over the Labor fake tears.

You think, God forbid, if something terrible happened tomorrow that France or Germany wouldn't come to the aid of the United States tomorrow because of Trump? You are delusional.

Democrats will forever remember the day when Trumpism further tightened their stranglehold on the Hawaii State Legislature.

You can be sarcastic all you want. Flipping local politicians is a healthy start. They usually have a more immediate effect on policies that hit home.

we aren't talking about tomorrow you c*** bucket

In just two weeks Trump has alienated Mexico, 7 Muslim countries, Australia, China

Given a year, he might alienate the entire EU, because hes a c***

Right now, the UN would have our back, but if we start invading other countries, and telling everyone to **** off and get in line, yes, its possible they won't stand up for us, but they will be on the other side of the wall

Well, one possible answer is "the United States".

Don't think your convenient addition of the word "tomorrow" to all of your arguments on this subject went unnoticed, though it was certainly a nice try at framing the argument in a way where you could actually win.

I retract my entirely-too-respectful post, this is a much better way to say it.

****ing Republicans don't even try to hide their fascism. A party loyalty oath just seems so natural to them. They just love oaths.

Tomorrow? Yes. I wouldn't be too sure about next year though.

This is a 'crossing the streams' moment for me... Trump cost Joey Diaz a job in the 80s. (From 7-7-15)

Things move fast, hard to keep up with everything even with this thread. Before the election and even the inauguration I would have thought all the "I'm moving if Trump wins" stuff was a bit hysterical. Now I'm thinking that anyone who wants to live in a free society with clean air and water where science is taught in schools and respected should absolutely be making plans to get out. The only questions left are 1) is Canada far enough or do I need to go full Australia/NZ (have some friends out there) and 2) am I waiting too long to put my house in the market?
02-02-2017 , 06:29 PM
Is that the same Joey Diaz who appears as a character in Lou Reed's Romeo Had Juliette?

Quote:
Outside the street were steaming the crack
dealers were dreaming
of an Uzi someone had just scored
I betcha I could hit that light
with my one good arm behind my back
says little Joey Diaz
Brother give me another tote
those downtown hoods are no damn good
those Italians need a lesson to be taught
This cop who died in Harlem
you think they'd get the warnin'
I was dancing when his brains run out on the street

Apologies if this turns out to be fake news. Seems contrary to most policy statements trump has made. Maybe they are trying to smoke out a mole or something?

On the small chance that this is an actual thing one day after putting Iran on notice, we wish you well mr. President.
