I'm not buying this one. Ordinarily that would be true. But unless Scarramucci covets the acclaim of racist rust-belt whites, then the prestige is not really a factor.

Even the rich dudes who support Trump know that he is an irrational idiot. He's just a useful one. And lots of highly qualified people flat out don't want to work for him. So if you're one of the few that's willing to take the **** job, for someone who all of your peers know is a not that bright, I don't know how much prestige value that really carries.

Lawyers: Can a POTUS tell people that he will pardon them if they break laws to protect him?

Still not quite sure I understand, but it sounds like you're saying Russia has something on him and wants him to do it because he will be better at advancing Russia's interests than Spicy.

Plausible, I suppose.

Rich Trump loyalist with a history of talking about Russian interests like sanctions. It's a pattern we've become extremely familiar with.

I live in trumpkin hell. I'm sure my car would be vandalized in no time with that bumper sticker. My mail box was mysteriously destroyed in October a few days after I put a Clinton sign out.

I can't really come up with a valid reason for Scaramucci's interest in the job either, except for one scary possibility. Maybe he wants to be the next Trump. I don't think Don Jr. is going to be able to carry the torch after 4/8 years. Clearly Trumpsters don't care about whether holding public office is a requisite for running for President. It appears he wants to be in lockstep with Trump on every issue. Couple that with high visibility and maybe he fashions himself as a successor.

America should seriously just break into 4 countries at this point. Its not united anymore, its just states. Northeast from boston to dc, cali to seattle in the west. Texas on its own as usual and the other garbage states can get on with electing dictators and jerking it to lynchings etc.

George H W Bush, George W Bush
Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr

Recent GOP Presidents so narcissistic they have to name their sons after them.

One other explanation is he is as fake rich as Trump. They have plenty of money, but it's not theirs. Those Russian loans do get called in sometimes.

Yeah, but how did they make out? Dumb and dumber.

Maybe he's just a racist c**t?
07-23-2017 , 05:54 PM
Nah, he's said too much in the past that most people in this thread would agree with.

If he had positions (as demonstrated by donations to Obama in the past) he'll drop them for the right price.

How scary is that really, though? If he actually becomes POTUS, it seems like he might then revert to his truly held views (i.e., the content of the deleted tweets).

It's scary because I was thinking the Trump phenomenon was finite. But this guy pledged his love and loyalty to dear leader the other day, and if he decides to become a high profile player, then the Trump insanity may last longer than Trump himself. And I don't think he'd revert. He's going out of his way to try to erase all evidence of his former political self while creating a new set of ideals.

Ideas like that are what putin calls useful idiocy.

The point is so fox can tell everyone on the right they testified and it was a big nothing.

Thomas Paine is still alive?

Isn’t that burying the lead in this entire thread?
07-23-2017 , 06:26 PM
Isn't it still a crime to lie to Congress whether under oath or not?
07-23-2017 , 06:28 PM
Ye grassley says its still a crime to lie.

Grassley knows not all crimes are equal. Just ask him about his own to see if he remains consistent.

PS I heard a wonderful analogy the other day. "It's like the cops are driving past the bank being robbed by Hillary and the Democrats to try and catch Donald Trump jaywalking." So accurately reality based.

so on the one hand it's good that a couple smart democrats can ask tough questions on the record, which mueller can see and evaluate with all the other **** he's been doing including interviewing them first, also on the record. but once again by not having the testimony public we're putting more eggs in mueller's basket, which makes him a bigger threat to guilty donny
