I've seen a couple local businesses openly supporting Trump, and it's such a bad business move. Nobody wants a side order of politics with their casual purchases, and there's no way you gain more customers than you lose for it.

Eh. I know a salesguy (now a contractor himself) who used to do Christian advertising and play that up and did well with it, though he didn't do that exclusively. Some of the people I know in Home Improvement would have no problem having three companies:

I LOVE TRUMP CONSTRUCTION

I HATE TRUMP CONSTRUCTION

WHO IS TRUMP? CONSTRUCTION

3 phone numbers and the same receptionist answers different ways depending on the number called.
