Breitbart, October 2016, quotes Mensch saying Trump voters are scum of the Earth.

I feel like the ACA would have specified the funds were for promotion of ACA enrollment or some such. I would be surprised if it was just open ended.

Seems like an egregious misappropriation/misuse of federal funds.

Agreed 1000% percent. Even if the media only ran glowing trump pieces it was still painfully obvious he was unfit to be president.

Pay her no mind, at this point she's a C-list blogger and part of the circle jerk of lower-credibility conspiracy sources that cite each other. In her case I suspect there's a mental thing going on as she's a little erratic also.

But mostly I think she's just washed-up and needs to eat, this is one way to pay the bills I guess.

I don't think it's that simple. Nah, scratch that. I don't think it's possible for anybody involved to tell the truth. There are a ton of people who appear to be moving in unison over anything Russia related. That's not to say they're completely coordinated, because we can see conflicting stories and accounts. What we don't ever see, from ANYONE in the WH or cabinet or GOP, is an admission of anything at the heart of the matter (Russian coordination). People are willing to confess to things on the fringe, but it's always a good 2-3 steps removed. At least in public. We're unaware of what Mueller or the committees have pieced together. It's probably also safe to say that Trump gets reports on the classified Congressional hearings from Rs, but not a PEEP out of the Special Counsel investigation. I'm sure this bothers Trump to no end.

So yeah, pardons can be issued for top guys and family. But is Trump willing to issue like 50 or 100 pardons/admissions of guilt/waived 5th Amendments? I don't see how his personal and family pardons can survive all of that either in the SCOTUS or through indictments at the State level.

Then we have the issue of the dozens and dozens of Russians involved on the other side. They won't be happy with people who talk and give the top ones up. Especially Vladimir Putin. There is a bunch of blackmail going on (we don't know exactly who, or how widespread it is, or whose families are involved, etc. but we can tell from known facts, testimonies, and public actions that it's a hell of a lot more than just Trump who are scared to death of this conspiracy's direct exposure).

Trump is ****ed badly no matter what, and he doesn't have to be a brain surgeon to know that. It's also his own fault from long before he started running for POTUS.

If it's the people who run the country and law enforcement, it could easily be enough to have DV arrested while the killer walks. See Russia.

And God forbid he's a Muslim. They did a great job turning 99 deaths over 15 years into a nationwide witch hunt. Nono, not that kind. An actual witch hunt.

My leak? No, YOUR leak. Why are these liberals picking on my good buddy Jefferson Disregard Sessions?

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/...08453560184832

It's all a lie. Nobody is talking about pardons. Now, here's my own major lie in return.

And of course, even Jared with his BILLIONS of dollars in Russian blackmail can't fix the problems our newspapers are causing in the Middle East.

EDIT: It's a Saturday morning tweet-massacre! This one is great evidence showing that Mueller is competent and can be trusted to do his job...as long as the results don't hurt Trump or anyone Trump doesn't want hurt. The courts can tuck this statement away for later use.

Louise Mensch's career trajectory is fascinating. Pretty successful chick-lit author, Member Of Parliament (yes really), conspiracy theorist.

Another Twitter puke this morning from dear leader. It's "counsel" btw not "council". I can't wait to have an actual adult in the White House again. It's mind boggling to me that this guy supposedly doesn't drink when he just spouts off like your drunk uncle.

So not prosecuting Hillary somehow justifies an unlimited number of crimes by Trump and company? Seems like that belief runs rampant up and down the GOP. The other day on my baseball forum somebody complained that "Ted Kennedy never went to jail". Somebody needs to ask them if all murderers should be free of prosecution because a lot of other murderers got away with it.

The biggest challenge with Scaramoochie is how much accuracy Saturday Night Live will put into abusing him and embarrassing Trump.

She began life as some kind of marketing scumbag in the music industry and has continued in the same vein since. I'm glad she's not here any more.

And it's reverse engineered to boot. Trump & Co crimes with Russia predate Hillary "crimes" regarding everything else.

And the degree of course. Something my family and most other Trumpists seem to have a broken imagination about. They're oblivious to how doing a bad thing once and doing a bad thing 1000x are at all different.

Only 7.5 years to go! Gotta love it when POTUS tweets he has complete power.
07-22-2017 , 09:54 AM
If Bharara was investigating that means it's a state crime which means POTUS can't pardon right?

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-us...-idUSKBN1A61T6

What happens if NY has him bang to rights but Manafort is in, say, FL or out of the country. Who has jurisdiction to go after Manafort & what if anything can POTUS do about it?
07-22-2017 , 10:17 AM
Bharara was the US Attorney so he prosecuted federal crimes. NY's attorney general/state's attorneys office would worry about state crimes.

Think Law and Order vs. Billions.
