I imagine McCain is going to spend the remaining months of his life being very sick and not doing much else.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) issued the following statement: “John McCain is a hero to our Conference and a hero to our country. He has never shied from a fight and I know that he will face this challenge with the same extraordinary courage that has characterized his life.*

Heeey **** you too McConnell, country always comes second. Think you meant "confederacy" though.

What on Earth would make you think his Trump criticism is the real McCain but the voting and picking Sarah Palin and **** version of McCain is the inhibited one?

Because he desperately, to the very bottom of his soul, wants to be loved by the paper of record and people of his home city. Instead he is a total laughingstock to everyone in New York and loved only by gap-toothed hillbillies living in the backwards south.

Shaub's term at Office of Govt Ethics would have been up in 6 months anyway. This way he gets to make maximum noise when he goes. He did about the best he could under the circumstances.

Citing Recusal, Trump Says He Wouldn’t Have Hired Sessions
In the interview, Mr. Trump said he believed Mr. Comey told him about the dossier to implicitly make clear he had something to hold over the president. “In my opinion, he shared it so that I would think he had it out there,” Mr. Trump said. As leverage? “Yeah, I think so,” Mr. Trump said. “In retrospect.”
dummy! it's only leverage against you if it's true.

What's so incredible is the Trump quotes take his own guilt as a given.

Because he wants today's obstruction of justice and witness/investigator intimidation to prominently go out to his opponents. I'm trying to figure out why unless he and Putin have something really big and bad planned. WTF did this ******* do??? Did he give away control of our power grid so Russia can flip a switch and hold people hostage whenever he wants? Because we know damn well our government won't stop something like that.

You predict wrong. If Mueller got fired, all hell would break loose.

So Mueller, Sessions, Rosenstein and McCabe are all getting fired in 2 weeks?

Civil war? People don't care as much as you think they do. The left will do nothing. The right will be happy. Peace and all is well.

Because republicans have such a long record of standing up for democracy? There was a massive outcry from the right when he fired Comey?

Who is fighting this imagined civil war?

The media will lose it, democrats will scream and shout but have zero power. Not a single republican, not one, will pubically come out against Trump.

Fox will run stories 24 hours per day calling it normal and within the president's power.

Mueller is the ONLY thing standing between Trump and a fully treasonous and hostile takeover of America. You guys think nothing will happen if he shuts that down?

Then why are you even here? Why bother fighting? Just throw up your hands, GTFO and don't let the door hit you.

What exactly do you think will happen?
07-19-2017 , 10:56 PM
I think it will be the main story i the news and discussed here for about a week and then something else will hapoen like major legislation passing or failing and we will move on and forget about Mueller. The cycle is sort of predictable at this point imo.

Nope, not gonna play your game of making me list things that you'll just say won't happen.

Go play with yourself.
