The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

The Russians seem very concerned about their decision to cut off the adoption of Russian orphans. I really feel for them.

I mean these are legitimate white babies, not that off brand Chinese stuff. Some serious leverage there.

So much of this is just about stupid old people not understanding technology.

“Sessions should have never recused himself and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Mr. Trump said.

Wouldn't that have presupposed knowledge of a Russian investigation, or is my time line confused?

trump is explaining that he and sessions had an implicit understanding about loyalty, and sessions betrayed that loyalty for some ****ty so-called constitution of the united states

Reading that NYT article infuriates me. They have a 1 on 1 interview....he is blatantly lying...and you don't even think of calling him on it.

it's a pro trump newspaper overall but they do have some opposition reporting for now.

This need to make terrible people look good b/c they're the leader is something NYT and a lot of newspapers always do historically. More worried about currying favor than actual reporting.

This is about russia, don't look into anything else he demands, meanwhile "why are the states not submitting everything I want, do they have something to hide?" is an actual argument out of him at the same time.

The Russian government is not evil, it is just corrupt, criminal and power thirsty.

How many country's did the USA invade since WW2 and how many people died while doing so? Are those dead alright since it happend in the fight against evil?

This USA = good, Russia = Evil is just post cold war bull**** that is used in the USA because it is way easier than actually trying to explain why thinks actually happen. No **** that. This is a board for political terms, so people should actally try to use their brains a bit instead arguing like Donald "The are bad, very bad" Trump
I linked a book for people to read up on it, didn't just blindly say something. There are obviously shades of grey in everything and no one is really purely good or purely evil, but Russia is heck of a lot closer to the purely evil side than the US or any Western country is.

(also meant to say "now know" in my previous post- didn't misspell 'know'- too late to edit)

trump admitted he fired comey because of the russia investigation.

trump admitted he expected sessions to defend him wrt the russia investigation.

russia? nothing to see here. no puppet. no puppet.

Can we possibly start a chant demanding Trump fire Jeff Sessions? I'm nearly certain his base would join in, causing enough pressure from all angles that Trump could actually be forced to do it.

That article among many they post are pro trump and pro R opinions. If they were against him they certainly wouldn't have posted that.

It looks like he's telling Putin that Melania will blow him. (He points to Trump and then to Melania before making a bj gesture, not a handie gesture

It's definitely beejay-related, but I far prefer Trump as a DL bottom b***h than a mere cuck.

Also reported that the Russians at the meeting gave Don Jr a neon sign saying "Dirt on Hillary in Exchange for Dropping Sanctions". Republicans on the Hill seem perplexed when asked what it could mean.

I am troubled by this revelation.

Just want to point out that since we learned about this secret Putin meeting that wasn't a big deal, Trump issued 2 ridiculous late night tweets about it, more ridiculous stuff in the morning, threatened a Republican Senator's seat on camera (after running a $million ad campaign to unseat him for coming out against a bill), then had a 50 minute interview with an adversarial MSM outlet saying his AG isn't loyal enough to have been hired, accusing his fired FBI head of multiple counts of public perjury, and threatened the Special Counsel investigating him of serious high crimes not to investigate his serious high crimes.

Just a sample of nervous deflections immediately following the news of a nothingburger meeting with the world's biggest opponent, that just happened to shock all the world leaders watching it.

while mccain sucked, he was the reason we know about the dossier and russians hacking our power grid, WAAF.

I lost my father to brain cancer last year. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I hope its operable.

Well that explains McCain's expert questioning at the recent hearings.

No, I don't think replacement is for the remainder of the term, I think there ends up being a special election. It's terrible, but if true democrats odds of retaking the senate in 2018 just went up bigly. They could maybe have taken heller and the other AZ senator, but there was no third target because everywhere else was deep red. If both AZ senators are up for election (and one is more or less an open seat no less) than they have a real shot.
