great ****ing job electing this guy as president you ****ing idiots.
He also said anyone who doesn't vote for his bill is "not a friend" and "saying that they support Obamacare."

There was supposed to be a Judiciary hearing this morning on Russian lobbying. Anyone know why Chuck Grassley decided "Nah" and canceled it last minute with no reason?

Today show segment this morning with Trump supporters in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Lots of white olds. Cliffs: they think people criticizing Trump should "shut up". One fat guy at a diner said his friends laugh every day at the "fake Russia nonsense". He said, "It's not collusion, it's an illusion". Wonder which right-wing talk radio moron he got that line from.

Reminds me of his Israeli/Palestinian peace brokering. "One state solution, two state solution, whatever you guys come up with". Or something to that effect.

Pretty sure that's straight from the WH/Kellyanne:

I'll give credit to America's Rust Belt fatties and olds, they've convinced the media they are America's non-partisan arbiters and the media loves these journeys out to talk to them to discover they're still out there, fed up and angry and repeating what they heard on Fox News, same as it was for the past 20 years.

But wait, maybe NOW, with Trump failing conspicuously? No, still wedded to whatever the Fox News talking points are, thanks for stopping by, see you next September for the midterm prep pieces where Wilkes-Barre diner patrons will remind you to leave Trump alone and keep it Foever MAGA.

13 or 14 is the cutoff IMO.

Why are they tearing apart voting oversight and replacing it all with Trump's fraud commission. And much much more. What do any of these actions have to do with them profiting from legislation, getting reelected in 2018/20, or staying off the radar of Mueller's team and other investigators?

They may be fighting for their self interests, but those interests appear to be Russian.
I'm not saying you're definitely wrong, I'm just saying I don't think it is necessary to explain most of their actions. I think the idea that the entire GOP Congress is compromised by Russia is fairly far fetched.

There may very well be a few key players who are compromised but "the whole GOP", ehh, I'm not saying it's impossible but it doesn't seem like the most likely explanation.

Trump ends covert CIA program to arm anti-Assad rebels in Syria, a move sought by Moscow
Even those who were skeptical about the program’s long-term value, viewed it as a key bargaining chip that could be used to wring concessions from Moscow in negotiations over Syria’s future.

Who needs bargaining chips when POTUS is BFF with Putin? I'm sure ol' Vlad is just waiting to give Donny whatever his little heart desires in exchange for all the great **** he's gotten so far.

It doesn't even have to rhyme, it just needs to be repeated by every moron on Fox for a day or so and it'll sink right into their dopey old skulls.

I'm trying to imagine the poly sci professor who taught DVaut about the role of political parties to coordinate messaging among their supporters. He's now rewriting his lesson plan to put that screenshot in his powerpoint to demonstrate how crude yet spectacularly effective Kellyann was to get derper morons repeating her talking point to MSM on air talent.

Yeah, he's definitely scoring more points with senators. He's aiming for Ted Cruz levels of popularity with the Senate. [To quote Al Franken, "You have to understand that I like Ted Cruz probably more than my colleagues like Ted Cruz, and I hate Ted Cruz."]

He hasn't held any press conferences over it, no town halls, nothing to try and pitch the American people on it. The guy hasn't been selling health care at all, it's not even clear he knows what's in the bill.
07-19-2017 , 04:43 PM
It's very clear he has no ****ing idea what's in the bill or even how legislation works.

I am not smart enough to see Russia as evil. Are we still thinking in the category that the US is the shining force of good who yields gods sword and everyone who opposed t them is evil?
