We have majorities in the Congress.

+

We have to let it fail to bring Democrats to the table to negotiate.

What?

Kompromat is anything Trump is willing to sell out national security to keep secret, doesn't have to be illegal. I would think a piss video would qualify.

It's so unfair that even weaseling to their fullest extent Republicans aren't able to pass a ****ty bill to kill a law that needed 60 votes to pass in the first place.

‘Plan C’ on Obamacare, Repeal Now and Replace Later, Has Collapsed
Senators Susan Collins of Maine, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, all Republicans, immediately declared they could not vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act without a replacement — enough to doom the effort before it could get any momentum.

Now we're on 'Plan D', go f*ck yourself

The point id love to see made more emphatically is: There's a 4 page provision in the AHCA about giving more funding to shore up insurance exchanges in areas that are losing ACA Insurers.

Keep asking Republicans "If this is something that passed the House, why not propose these 4 pages as a piece of standalone legislation to get people help they need finding an insurer"

MSNBC said there was a 2nd meeting between Trump & Putin at the G20 just to, you know, be transparent and above board.

A reminder that we were all celebrating the death of Trumpcare after the first House push blew up.

this article made me happy. like, at least some people are getting turned on to the phony scammer nature of baby donny

Breitbart’s White House reporter is trying to hold Trump accountable. Seriously.

more than anything, more than seeing him impeached or seeing him lose reelection, is i hope to see a big trial on tv and to eventually lock him up. he deserves it. and seize his buildings via sessions' expanded civil forfeiture doctrine.

Millions and millions of people have their well being and lives at stake and this ****ing moron is playing spite games over who's gonna own the bill, and whether or not the Dems will come crawling to the table for bipartisan healthcare? I seriously hate this POTUS. Someone get him a bag of dicks next time instead of KFC.
07-18-2017 , 06:13 PM
They are going to force the repeal vote despite knowing it will fail. Are they trying to just blow up the R party? Or will McConnell call it off when this threat to moderates doesn't work? The only point of forcing a vote is to force people to go on the record against repeal and make a list of Rs to primary.
07-18-2017 , 06:14 PM
It sounds more like a Bannon idea than a McConnell one.

More details...

A friend of MSNBC is the one who brought it to their attention and they got the meeting confirmed by the White House, so it's not just another fake news rumor.

The WH said the meeting took place after some "couples dinner", there were no transcripts or records, no others in the room, no known time frame, no comments on the content.

No ****!
07-18-2017 , 06:27 PM
Trump also didn't bring his own translator and relied on Putin's. Smart.
07-18-2017 , 06:29 PM
Smarts have nothing to do with it. Trump wanted no witnesses. 100% nefarious IMO.

Also, was the whole G20 "wiretapped" by Germany? I wonder if Trump would know that or not.
07-18-2017 , 06:31 PM
****in lock him up now

Amazing that they think these meetings can stay secret.

Meantime, the story behind this other Russian meeting involving Don Jr. makes less sense as time goes on. It ended after 20 minutes and nothing was discussed other than blah blah blah adoption? Eight people show up for a failed 20 minute meeting? But it ended cordially? Why would it if nobody got what they were looking for? Yet it doesn't look like there was any damage done to the relationship with Russia, or how could they explain the change in the platform at the convention that occurred shortly thereafter.

Nothing makes sense unless our POTUS is owned to high hell by Russia. Then, everything fits.

Except for GOP. Unless a whole bunch of them are owned too. Then, everything fits again.

This 2nd Putin thing may be bothering me more than it should. I'm pretty shook. I mean, I called for immediate Mueller interviews with Tillerson after the non-secret meeting went almost 2 hours into overtime. But this hidden meeting? Wow!

I'm sure they just talked about pierogies and snow and ****, so whatever. Nothing to do but move on.
07-18-2017 , 06:53 PM
We (the US) had better at least get a World Cup victory out of this.

Well, they're holding him accountable to the white nationalist agenda he promised on the campaign trail. I'd call it a mixed bag.

Jail won't happen, but man that would be the best. Would love to see some justice for this lifetime crook.

The secret Trump meeting with Putin makes sense. I mean come on, there's an expiration date on whatever Putin has on Trump. If nothing else, as the ****show goes on, the marginal damage a pee tape would do to Trump gets smaller and smaller. Putin has to get what he can while he can.
07-18-2017 , 07:24 PM
Honest to god at this point I won't be even a little surprised if it turns out trump is an actual Manchurian candidate.
07-18-2017 , 07:33 PM
At this point the pee tape is a favorite to be real right?
