The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Dennis Prager is so bad. I wouldn't know who he is except he's been on the radio in LA for 35 years and I drive a lot.

among many other things, russia has been up to hacking our power grid.

The media is more of a threat than not having electricity.

They CAN'T clean house though, that's the problem. I don't even think it's as much a nepotism issue as others here do either. Another factor Is bigger.

Trump's dilemma is simple to see, but really hard to address. It's the same situation as Flynn, to a lesser extent Comey, and an even lesser extent Yates and Bharara.

[JUST REALIZED]
After the latest news, it seems like we now have a much better framework for fitting in the whole Flynn story. It makes sense for Trump to ignore all the Flynn warnings leading up to his NSA appointment. It also makes sense that he never filled out correct FARA paperwork, and that excuses were made for his firing, as well as excuses for firing the other good guys above. ALL of them were fired for bogus sounding reasons, instead of the overwhelmingly likely reason Trump wanted each of them to go. Lastly, according to the same logic, the 18 day delay before a public report forced Trump to fire Mike Flynn makes much more sense. And keeping Flynn's top level security clearance in place the whole time is oh so familiar these days.
[/JUST REALIZED]

So basically, Trump is petrified of anybody else being put through the ringer the way Flynn has been. Not as much for their sake, but because he wants to limit his own exposure. IMO, Jared is more deeply involved in dirt right now than even Flynn was because he's basically co-president of everything: Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, infrastructure grifter, Israel/Palestine healer, opiod kingpin, Captain NATO, Democracy demolition director, and so on.

Trump can't fire Kushner because of the ****storm that would follow him as a private citizen, and he can't even pull security clearance because that would neuter Trump's top cutout oligarch. Meanwhile, the pressure is ramping up from every angle. GG WH.

Fox is arguing that Clinton colluded with Russia. This is real life.

I wonder who in the campaign could approve such a thing, and how they could justify it.

The Trump Administration---- by all metrics---- literally is getting nothing done.

Check out the bills passed by the Congress:

Less than a dozen even have Wikipedia entries. It's a "do nothing" administration.

Screaming about the "Fall of the Republic" is like the boy who cried wolf.
Who said the Trump admin isn't doing anything? It's the GOP who's frozen.

Trump & the gang are getting plenty done. Lots behind the scenes, lots that has been drowned out by biggerly blown up Trump news cycles. From what we can tell of the public reports, none of these actions have been all that beneficial to the country. They did a great job of helping Trump personally, or catering to Russia, or dismantling Obama's life, or chasing people around all day and night who insulted him.

Not only that, but we see a POTUS who is always pushing the edge to test what he can get away with. Since he does this in our faces to brag, we have every reason to believe he is either just as bad, or even worse behind closed doors.

So yeah, they're getting **** done...it's just not for us.

SNL could have a field day with this and the meeting of four, no wait five, no wait six, no wait eight people... By the end of the skit they'll have fifty Russians jammed in a room with Kushner, Manafort and Trump Jr., like sardines.

i know this is a photograph of all of us in that meeting with a clown car in the room but i'm absolutely positive that there were no more than 2 or 3 clowns in that car.

There is now a guy in the "Russian interference in the 2016 election" saga legitimately named Ty Cobb and he doesn't even have the most WTF name in this story. (#1 remains Reality Winner)

Who the **** has an unimportant footnote of a meeting with eight people?
