The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Yeah anonymous sources are an absolute cornerstone of news reporting in the US. Having every story sourced by a name is exactly what a guy like Bannon wants to destroy the media.

It is the responsibility of journalists to corroborate information but using anonymous sources is fine and for the most volatile stories requisite.

The more I think about it, the more I think my initial positive impression of Woods as a person is based solely on his undeniably awesome and relatively early Simpsons cameo. Just shows to go ya.

Well, he is also known for the size of his dick.

I would think Trump would sooner fire Mueller than go on a pardon spree, he gets so much more mileage out of it. Also, if any of his attorneys are competent, they'll tell him that the idea of pardons before one is convicted has never been tested in court and may not hold up.

Patrick Stewart did lots of things besides Star Trek, but no one remembers him as "That guy from Waiting For Godot."

I'm tired of seeing this hyperbolic bull**** all the time. Putin/Trump are destroying Western Democracies at an alarming, unprecedented rate. There's no modern day comparison to be made without equivocating heavily.

"This country was divided long before I ran for President."

"Obama did nothing about the Russian election interference."

"Russia has been trying this stuff for decades."

"Countries always try to influence other countries' elections."

"We got a lot of killers. You think our country is so innocent?"

These are straight up false equivalences, by a large margin. And his base falls for it. Luckily, the rest of the world does not otherwise Democracy's days would already be numbered.

The fact of the matter is that Trump is literally doing Putin's bidding. He's doing it at home and abroad. He's doing it early & often. Every day we read about and listen to him turning his base (and many many other ignorant people) against Democratic aspects of Democracies worldwide. The FAKE NEWS media is partisan and against him. The Deep State IC is partisan and against him. The so-called Judges & courts are partisan and against him. Congressional investigations are partisan and against him. Mueller's witch hunt team is partisan and against him.

It's gotten tired. People are sick of nothing new coming out of his orange butthole of a mouth.

It's still conspiratorial until new information comes to light, but CNN was drawing a link between this meeting about "adoptions" with the Russian lawyer and how it may have had an effect on Trump policy.

This lawyer was representing a $230 million Russian lawsuit that Preet Bharara was investigating out of EDNY. Preet was fired and the lawsuit was settled for only six (!) million.

I'll be waiting with baited breath for follow up info showing a better connection to this.

I think his name would be better for porno if it was James Wood instead of James Woods.

Oh yeah? Interesting. I've read that he was a dick and very hard to work with and that's why he never got any bigger than he did. I think Seth MacFarlane was parodying this with how he wrote Woods into Family Guy.

Nah, he had it right. A couple guys told them they would be at a game, so he worked it into his article that he started before the game happened, they no-showed, and he left the stuff about them being there in it because he never bothered to check if they actually were there or not. More stupid than malicious. The Detroit Free Press reacted as if he committed a Brian Williams level sin and suspended him and the editors that let the article go, but have since recanted that this reaction was a bit over the top.

It's not all that different than how media organizations have obituaries on file of every living famous person. You just make sure you update it before you publish it. Like imagine putting that so and so was survived by his wife when really his wife died a month ago, but the obituary was written two months ago.

I'm holding out for a RICO 'til the end of the night
It's gotta be strong
And it's gotta be fast
And it's gotta be super airtight

Another Koch Bros minion hired at the Department of Energy.

Alex Fitzsimmons whose experience includes being a spokesperson for Fueling U.S. Forward, a Koch-funded campaign to bolster public opinion of fossil fuels is now the head of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

I'll have to find it but Pro Publica has been investigating Trump's "deregulatory" team. Trump's set it up but won't release who's on it. Pro Publica found that just about everyone that they've been able to verify who's on it is either a Koch henchman or an industry lobbyist.

Video obtained exclusively by CNN offers a new look inside the web of relationships now at the center of allegations of collusion between Trump campaign associates and Russia.

The video shows the future President Donald Trump attending a dinner with an Azerbaijani-Russian family who became Trump's business partners in Las Vegas in June 2013. It also shows their publicist, Rob Goldstone, who would later send Donald Trump Jr. the emails that have brought the eldest Trump son to the center of the controversy over possible collusion between Trump campaign associates and Russia.

I think that's kind of interesting, but isn't the fact that all these people know each other pretty well established? I don't think anyone's denying that they know each other.

So he's nice and isn't talking about politics or rubbing Trump in your face. He doesn't force you to read his twitter. Yet, for some reason, you want to slowroll him. You're a pos yourself.
