you're saying great, but then you totally ignore the substance of my post. you're trusting this guy's story that the meeting was of no substance, even though he's been forced to change it 3 times! he's not being accused of something very minor, admitting the wrong thing will land him in jail, he's not begging to get locked up.

literally your counterpoint to my: "you can't trust his story" is: "but he said ____!"

Fox news beating the "nothing illegal here" drum. Gotta love it.

(necessary caveat: of course it was, just showing it's not just the right in full denial of the course of events)

If Satan himself e-mails you that close to an election, you hear the man out. Democrat or Republican, it doesn't matter.
so the argument is now "Damn right I ordered a code red". that was fast.

inso any thoughts on Kushner wanting to set a private line to the Russia gov at the Russian embassy without telling US intelligence?

lol

the "zero evidence of collusion" crowd is looking at this like the robots in Westworld: "that doesn't look like anything to me"

The story won't end today. It won't end for years. But the right is slowly, incrementally working themselves into full Iran-Contra mode: that thing we denied and lampooned you for believing happened actually happened just as you said, but in the end we cavorted with a hostile power for the betterment of America, really you should thank us. It's like that Narcissist Prayer joke meme from earlier: that didn't happen --> if it did, we didn't know --> it wasn't that bad --> actually we did it, you should be happy about it.

It may take months to get there, but we'll get there. Then it's going to be over to the justice system, Congress, and voters to keep anyone honest. How much hope you have for all of that I suppose is a matter of judgement. Remember the GOP controlled Congress is already reading from the Narcissist' Prayer-book so they're really ahead of the game here.

Wow just turned on fox for the first time in weeks.

1 host is actually talking half sense. Eric dip**** boling is melting down.

Women host asks him 'Can you at least admit that Trump jr did something wrong, whether its illegal or legal?'

Eric: Noooooooooooo. If someone offers you opposition research, you take it, no matter who it is.

Other guy: Yea I just don't see it either. You could say maybe he was sloppy, but I don't think he did anything wrong.

Wow, he was just sloppy in his collusion with a foreign adversary.
07-11-2017 , 05:17 PM
lol Inso0.

And you gotta love totally nonpartisan, never-raped-a-gal Assange giving Don Jr. advice to minimize his political exposure. The thing I respect about Assange is his utter conviction in speaking truth to power.

Inso's logic is actually, they broke into the house to steal jewelery, but the house didn't have any, so no crime. Which is stupid on its face, but also just wrong because we have no idea what information, if any was exchanged.

Don't you present yourself as a serious, devout Christian? Am I remembering that right? This is disgraceful, dude. Just stop.

Assange is an enormous dip****. It's giuliani's level of "look, I know very famous people, okay?".

The amazing thing about this news is that even if you accept Don Jr.'s (changing daily) story about the meeting on its face he's still in deep ****. If it wasn't actually a brief meeting where this woman just wanted to talk about the Magnitsky Act and they brushed her off? Hahahaha oh wow

it's as if the police caught up to the guys a year later, and they CLAIMED they never even considered it. then they claimed they didn't do anything illegal in private after being caught conspiring to commit a crime in email, and sergeant inso0 says "time so close the case on this one"

CNN reported the Muller didn't know about the meeting which makes you wonder what Muller is investigating.
07-11-2017 , 05:25 PM
lol mueller's been investigating the leakers this whole time
07-11-2017 , 05:26 PM
Guy on BBC Newshour: Ok, but not illegal and anyway Hillary did it too in trying to get dirt on Trump from Ukraine government. As I recall, dirt did come from Ukraine but it was on Manafort and it resulted in him being dumped. Don't remember what Clinton's involvement was. I'm sure Trumpers will remind us though, if this line becomes an approved talking point.

Inso0 is apparently just like Trump, only instead of tweeting Fox and pretending he came up with it he posts it ITT.

You can think I'm bat**** crazy for believing things written in the bible, but I'm not denying the existence of dinosaurs, if that's what you're implying. I realize that in the minds of most here, there's no meaningful distinction. But the nostril thing is just such a weird line of attack I figured I'd finally acknowledge your bait and ask wtf your issue is.

At some point, someone linked me a study by dudes at the University of Manchester, but it was less a study and more of just a theory to try and make sense of the fact that it would've been impossible for something that large to function if the atmosphere were similar to what we've known. It boiled down to, "They're birds, and birds are super good at breathing efficiently." It was pretty underwhelming.

There is a Prosecutor General, equivalent to our Attorney General.

seems odd that he'd bring in a bunch of ringers as it relates to financial crimes, organized crime, and money laundering if all he was investigating is leaks

"they surely know more than what's been reported" was a talking point out there. lolz

It's likely they still have to catch up to what's been reported.
