So basically nothing has changed, and it seems, Trump is even more emboldened to embrace Russia. Is he saying he wants to work with Russia to make sure future cyber-meddling is harder to discover? Ha.

Meantime, the other day I went to the gym and the very ardent Trumpkin gym-owner told me he'd be fine with Pence being President. So maybe things are slowly starting to erode. I dunno.

Yeah, read the comments to Rubio. There's a near unanimous push going on. The American people have had enough. Will GOP feel it in time?

Its a worry to me that when I see good agit prop video like this this, I cant immediately find it on loltubz.

loltubz is easily the easiest format for sharing and caring on interwebz, the amount of times I see really good video content and cant put it insta on facebook or other channels coz no loltubz is really worrying to me.

This **** needs to be tight, this is a war, good content needs to be weaponised the moment it meets its first eyeball.

This is something the "right" are so so so so so so much better at.

I honestly don't think there is anything more important to our national security than the IC or Mueller's team or whoever's left in our skeleton government with the authority, interviewing Rex Tillerson, like, IMMEDIATELY.

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
Putin & I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded..

no words as the mind recoils

Sorry for the paranoia. I've never felt like this before. It's surreal. This is no longer just about elections. It's a much much bigger problem.

12 hacked nuclear power plants, threats to our power grid, FSB torturing political prisoners in the proving ground of Ukraine, a guilty and/or frightened GOP Congress, hacked Senators, and our president laughs after the Russian president threatens the lives of US citizens.

If you don't feel the urgency yet, consider how much Putin is revealing his hand. **** is in motion.

The joint cybersecurity tweet has to be the Onion.

Just realized the defining pictures of the trump era so far were taken by the russians (ivanka at G20 pic/russians in WH). WAAF.

Yes, russians in cybersecurity should be a real hoot in the IC quarters.

Make Election-Hacking Safe Again

Trump states everything as a definitive fact, regardless of reality...except the Russian hacking. Then it's just his "opinion."

Fark, I just realized that the mere request for voter info from the states is suppressing votes of Democrats, minorities, immigrants, Muslims, etc. You know, the usual crew.

People have been withdrawing their voter registrations because they don't trust Trump's admin to use the information for good reasons. And who fears retaliation from Trump the most? You guessed it, same crew from above.

Whether this information goes onto Trump's enemy list, gets hacked by the Kremlin, or is placed directly into Putin's hands, the result is the same. Even if 0 states comply, they win.
07-09-2017 , 10:01 AM
In an effort to stop further interference, we will openly give away our security measures to the hackers so they can more efficiently defeat them.

The fate of the entire free world lays on the shoulders of like 2 news papers, robert mueller and his lawyers. If anyone saved their one time, now is the time. Those tweets this morning are insane and should alarm all lawnakers on both sides. Disgusting

You would have thought that Wookie's removal of all those conspiratard posts yesterday would have fixed the thread. But reading the recent posts it is clear this thread is still in full conspiratard mode. Fun to read tho.

Yeah seriously. One of these posts does not belong. Is it poco's?

Because we are at the point of global crisis and some people just don't care.

Trump bombing Syria and his words on Russia in his Warsaw speech etc. make clear he is no patsy. It's easier to watch Russia from close up, so I see no need to fear this unit. You guys need to chill out a little.

Working with Russia to prevent election hacking goes with the dumb theme of the administration and its followers, similar to the idea of electing a proud tax cheat because he'd know which loopholes to close.

You don't seem to get that the statement indicates that Trump is clearly mentally ill. A sovereign nation doesn't outsource its security to a geo-political rival. It is an utterly bizarre statement.
