Probably at first, but there's some serious hate for Catholicism in many Protestant denominations, especially in the south. Gonna get got in the 3rd wave purges, maybe 4th at the latest.

It's time to start asking ourselves: is it even possible to remedy this situation via electoral means? The Fascists have stolen the Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch, and the Judicial Branch. They won't stand for fair elections in 2018.

Well there is this thing called Taxation without Representation. It resulted in the revolution that got us the United States of America. You could make a very very good argument that the majority of the country is now experiencing Taxation without Representation right now.

Ideally, yes. It's clear that values are irreconcilably different in different parts of the country. Can anyone give a good reason why Vermont and California should be sharing a country with Alabama and Oklahoma?
