I hate it when people post these things without sources.

If we're going to constantly call out Trumpers for not citing stuff then we should hold up our end of the bargain.

Anyone in the Trump administration that hasn't lawyered up is an idiot. Guilty or not at this point they all need independent council. So it doesn't mean much that Sessions lawyered up. Surprised he didn't do it earlier.

To be fair that is the number one position of republican leadership. Demarcates are evil and need to be stopped.

Mask slipping again

That's not at all how net neutrality works

McCain: No American has seen healthcare bill, but I'm sure Russia has

How does someone who had so much integrity when they were younger end up like McCain?

this dude is some simple midwestern yokel who was born into a family business of wheat cultivation (and received an inheritance large enough to qualify for the estate tax, iirc), don't expect him to understand how the internet works

Lay off the boxed wine.

what is integrity worth when you can have unbridled power, status, and paychecks for the rest of your life if you just toe the party line every time?

it's not like republicans support republican policies because they're good people who care about moral/logical consistency and making average people's lives better. it shouldn't be surprising.

I've seen opinions on reddit saying if McCain flipped there is a good chance the bill wouldn't pass as it's already expected to be extremely tight vote and because of his reputation he'd give a safe haven for several other republicans who know this is going to go over incredibly badly to flip as well.

Which makes his bull**** 100 times more infuriating if true.

McCain never struck me as that kind of Republican until recently.

Bernie and Liz Warren on Trumpcare. Basically HD porn for libs, and some of the best hand gestures you'll ever see.

What is the likelihood that recordings of the Comey-Trump conversations exist? And if they do exist, what is the likelihood that they get turned over to congress/the investigation without being edited or destroyed?

I'm assuming that Trump voluntarily turning over evidence that makes him look bad is about 0%.

Dude bought himself a lifetime of goodwill with McCain-Feingold which turned out to be nothing more than a poison pill which gave us Citizens United.

This is definitely true. Prior to this election cycle I never paid that much attention to politics. Would just research candidates policies and maybe watch a few speeches and vote.

It's been said a hundred times, but McCain will never flip on the party line. The sitting president has called him a loser for being a prisoner of war. What bill or appointee could possibly be a worse insult or affront to his values than that?

Theres been no chance he would flip from the moment he backed Trump to begin with. It's like that scene from Breaking Bad where Walt is begging the Nazi uncle not to kill Hank. "He made up his mind ten minutes ago".

I don't know the breakdown yet on how the court voted, but I like both of these rulings. I continue to have more faith in the judicial branch than Congress or the executive branch.
Well it's early yet. Give it time.

Why do these reporters and pundits cite 17 intelligence agencies when giving evidence for the Russian election interference? That's pretty convincing, but there is a better and & easier way. All they need to do is tell Spicey/whoever about the leaked NSA report showing the 39 states that were attacked. He'll definitely counter by saying it's a leak, or it's unconfirmed or whatever. Then, simply checkmate Spicey/whoever with a follow-up pointing out that the DOJ confirmed the story when they arrested the leaker.
