Yea, the DoJ released a statement basically saying "The pee tape is being released. We can neither confirm or deny it. Wink, wink."

Let's say the pee tape is doctored and released. It shows Trump peeing on hookers but with a 18 inch cock. Does he confirm or deny it's him?

OTOH, let's say it shows Trump w/ a micro penis. Does he deny it or just launches a nuke at a random country?

Dom, CNN later issued a correction saying that Trump did in fact visit Scalise. The incorrect information was repeated from an erroneous TV pool report.

I'm not on Twitter, so I can't speak to it, but this guy is on FlyWF's Must Ignore list of anti-Trump conspiritards and wishcasters along with Louise Mensch. Perhaps take with a heavy dose of salt.

Why would a US ally release the pee tape? I thought Russia had it and was blackmailing Trump.

This doesn't have to be the pee tape, it could be any compromising audio or video tape. Most of our allies have plenty of reasons... For starters, his pulling out of the Paris Agreement is detrimental to the entire world. Then there's the intelligence leak from UK intelligence, his acrimonious relationship with Merkel and Macron, etc, etc, etc...

Maybe there's more than one tape.

Yeah I don't consider this guy reliable, but given the Rosenstein statement it does seem like something is in the pipeline.

Nothing short of sex with a minor (under 15) or a man will even matter.

One reason could be because they are allies w/ the US, not Trump. Trump is delusional and the rest of the world has had enough of his garbage.

So this family of the guy that was in NK is basically blaming everything on Obama.

Yep. It's Obama's fault he didn't risk the lives of Americans to rescue your dumb ass son that decided to visit North ****ing Korea. It can't be your son being a moron.

This is the Trumpkin base through and through. No personal responsibilities for your actions. Just blame it on Obama.

I don't really want to post the unsubstantiated Twitter rumors here, but if anyone wants to go down that wormhole, search Twitter for stuff like: ally tape, five eyes, fvey, fvey Kislyak. But be forewarned: this is in the realm of Louise Mensch, conspiracy theorists and wishcasters.

I don't usually even bother with that stuff, but given the Rosenstein statement, I'm extra curious what may be coming in the next couple of days, and a little speculation was entertaining.

Maybe slow pony and mostly lol, but Putin offered James Comey political asylum if he's prosecuted.

Yeah, OK. I initially thought that was the case, but looked at his profile and he'd worked on campaigns, so I figured I was wrong.

Yeah, Rosenstein's statement included this, which I found mystifying:

Quote:
Americans should exercise caution before accepting as true any stories attributed to anonymous ‘officials,' particularly when they do not identify the country — let alone the branch or agency of government — with which the alleged sources supposedly are affiliated.
I mean, this doesn't seem to refer to any leak that is already public, all of which (correct me if I'm wrong) have cited American sources - aside from the Steele dossier I guess, but that was ages ago and the nationality of the author is widely known. So it seems like there's a potential leak from another country in the works, and this ally tape story could fit the bill. All a bit uncertain at the moment, we'll see what happens.

The biggest line is Rosenstein saying "The DoJ neither confirms nor denies these allegations."

He's basically saying "Don't believe what you are about to hear, but at the same time, we aren't denying it."

It's almost like Daddy Orange found out a report is coming out and wanted Rosenstein to deny it. Rosenstein didn't want to, but at the same time didn't want Trump calling him all hours of the night. Probably told Daddy Orange "OK, I'll put something out." Then he put the "The DoJ neither confirms nor denies these allegations." at the end of the statement knowing Trump wouldn't read that far.

Dear Rod Rosenstein,

1) Is there a faster way to confirm these fake news leaks, or do we always have to wait a full day for the president to do it?

2) Will the press be revealing the origin country for every source from now on, or just the ones involving the president?

3) When the sources are from the US, specifically from the White House, are leaked stories more or less credible than their outright statements?
