I work in a manufacturing plant and there are a bunch of them, thankfully I only see/converse with most of them for 30 minutes a day

That's a weird way to use that Nixon quote. Like, Nixon said all those high-minded things, but he was a hateful, petty, vindictive little monster with no dignity or scruple.

Absolutely. Also most of the time I'm just sitting around in a small office with a TV and it's nearly always on Fox News. I try to work hours when no one else is around.

Something about the announcement that Mueller is investigating Trump himself put Pence over the top. Hiring a lawyer never implies guilt, but it does make a difference depending on some factors. The stronger the factors, the more the gap between likely guilt and likely innocence. But it's not zero.
I don't think his hiring of an attorney indicates his guilt but I do think it is a strong indicator he thinks others might be in serious trouble and is protecting himself.

If he thought there was absolutely nothing to any of this and all of it was baseless it's unlikely he would have done that at his point.

Alone it means very little but as you stack circumstance upon circumstance it becomes clearer and clearer some people are in hot water.

yeah we're never getting a unity moment like that again.

Hello marksman, Does being a naughty fibber indicate anything?

Yea I'm sure one of the things that worries Pency is he openly lied for Trump and others. He's gotta be worried that might come back to bite him.

The whole GOP obviously isn't going to lawyer up, but I really hope this affects Congress's attitude in public interviews, etc. and especially in hearing questions and responses under oath? We need Mueller to get the word out that he's doing this.

What's up with the weird statement from Deputy AG Rosenstein? I'll post it in a bit...

https://twitter.com/ZekeJMiller/stat...26604671373312

He's discrediting the media, telling Americans to be skeptical of anonymous officials, especially when they don't say the country of origin nevertheless the branch of government.
06-15-2017 , 10:18 PM
hilarious infowars making nbc it's ***** by releasing the jones interview before it airs.

wish somehow they both could lose tho.

This is why you don't give clowns a platform media.

So the DAG is just Trump's puppet now? It's obviously one of those statements written by Trump himself.

How can we understand from where "the alleged sources supposedly are affiliated" if the country, branch or agency of government is not identified? So I guess I'm rightly exercising caution about Rosenstein's statement since it doesn't make a lot of sense. And what is the logic behind not confirming things that you could know are true or untrue?
06-15-2017 , 10:30 PM
What a weird statement.

Obviously we should be skeptical of all anonymous sources.

But this sounds preemptive in nature. And to release it at 10 PM Eastern? Really odd.
06-15-2017 , 10:40 PM
he's saying the new york times and washington post have been compromised by foreign agents and that that's the real story
06-15-2017 , 10:40 PM
Maybe he's doing it to placate Trump because it's not really a directive he can refuse ("warn people about anonymous sources"); if he did he could potentially be fired "for cause." Then it's hello deputy AG Gingrich (not really, doubt Gingrich could get confirmed, but some toady).

A few things we know about Trump: 1) he doesn't know how any of this works, 2) he's bad at strategy, 3) he thinks he's good at strategy, 4) he always wants to be on the offensive, 5) he really, really didn't want anyone investigating Flynn.

I blew off this whole 0.5% of Rosneft thing, but man Trump is the most suspicious-acting mofo I've ever seen. If he said his favorite color was blue I would genuinely wonder what his favorite color actually is and why he lied about it being blue.

Big bombshell coming tomorrow?

Lol that is a crazy statement. I am sure it has no influence from the whitehouse.

I do enjoy the part where we are being warned not knowing the country of origin of these "rumors".

And now we go to Judge Pirro to explain that Trump is far past the statute of limitations on having underage girls pee on you.

He's preemptively preparing for tomorrow's news dump. Should be a goodie.
