Diabeetus? Never heard of it, we don't know much about teh healthcare here in Straya. We can slap a band-aid on you if you get bitten by a snake.

On an unrelated note, here's some info about the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, opening here in September:

Quote:
The hospital grounds will encompass 10 hectares within central Adelaide, and upon completion later this year, is set to cost approximately A$2.1 billion making it one of the most expensive buildings ever built. 6,000 staff are expected to work at the hospital, and all beds will be single patient suites with private bathroom facilities. There will be 40 large identical operating suites built to the world's best standards, each measuring 65m2. The nRAH will also be Australia's most technologically advanced hospital, with a fleet of automated robotic vehicles to help move supplies, meals and equipment around the hospital, and a tailor made patient electronic medical record (EMR). Other technology features including patient weighing beds, wireless technology and equipment tracking capability, and intelligent information systems such as bedside entertainment and meal ordering for patients.
This is a public hospital, owned and operated by the government, so all of the above is free of charge to patients.

Yep. Even an absolutely clean guy should get a damn good lawyer. You never know when somebody who is going down will try to bring you with them.

It remains extremely funny that Trump, despite 3 debates and like a year to learn about the story, still appears to think Clinton used actual bleach to do something to the emails. He just can't wrap his head around the concept that a program could be named BleachBit.

lol, Pence's lawyer appears to be more top-flight than Trump's.

Have you asked him why employers are so oddly generous that they pay for their employees' insurance?

I was going to say he at least put quotes around bleach this time but I'm pretty sure he's use quotes for emphasis before so...

Do you guys have people bringing up trump in your offices? I don't know if I could handle working for or even with a Trump supporter.

She's right on this one. If you wanna be unhappy as soon as possible, pay attention to politics. I make this mistake all the time too. Don't enter this thread or pay attention every day like you do; go accomplish something instead.

Ask your dad if he's at odds with Trump, who said Australia has better health care than we do. Better than both Obamacare AND Trumpcare.

It must be one of those huge divides between Trump and Trumpkins. Funny, cause my mom said Trump did do some wrong stuff as POTUS, but couldn't name one item when I asked.

His hiring of an attorney is not a sign that he's dirty. If you're ever in a situation where you may have been associated with someone who may have been in trouble criminally, you want an attorney, regardless.

I do camera gigs at Microsoft sometimes and my lead is a full on Trumper. He doesn't know I know but I saw him on Drudge in the green room one day. It's like 99% never ever Trump in that company. I LOVE to troll his ass by getting in loud conversations with coworkers about how Tump and his crew are giant lying idiots so he can hear. He just kinda smiles and nods like he's going along with the crowd knowing he can't reveal his dirty shameful Trump love.

Seems USED TO be right on this one...pre-TRUMP. Did you see the asterisk underneath?

Like everything else Trump does, it's having a big effect on peoples' lives. Mine included. Maybe not so much yours, good for you. He just didn't get you YET. What's bad for you though, is your response showing you're unsympathetic to the problems of other people.

Some background: Clinton or her aides used software called BleachBit to delete old emails (and other junk, the tool's main intended use is to free up storage space). The Republicans seized on this as proof Hillary was engaged in a coverup. They then dramatized it in a campaign ad by having a reenactor pour bleach on a computer.

Now, in their talking points, pouring small-b-bleach on a computer is something that actually happened in reality. They were trying dupe their voters and succeeded in duping themselves. Truly the party of Elmer Fudd.

I'll reply to this post, but the same principle goes for the others too.

Something about the announcement that Mueller is investigating Trump himself put Pence over the top. Hiring a lawyer never implies guilt, but it does make a difference depending on some factors. The stronger the factors, the more the gap between likely guilt and likely innocence. But it's not zero.

Only one of my bosses is a vocal Trump guy, and he's really more of a Team Republican-type person. He gets up for the sport of the politics debate, a typical privileged white guy. I feel lucky, though in that my office is overwhelmingly liberal, considering it's in a wealthy area of Florida.

I don't know what to say, other than this is wrong. You don't ever want to take your chances without a lawyer, even if you are 100% innocent, in a position like Pence's.

Pence probably received a preservation letter and got a lawyer. Pretty standard.

Most of the leaks will be people receiving letters/subpoenas/interview requests, not fbi/Mueller. That's why Trump's statement yesterday accusing the fbi of leaking was so wierd--why piss off fbi/Mueller more with false accusations. It's just dumb.
