Trump testifying would be a terrible mistake.

I would have loved to write a 20 page analysis, but whether a written analysis was even required was borderline. I told the client I'd do the project in three hours. Way too much big firm overlawyering is borderline theft. Firms behave much differently when they have to eat their own fees via opportunity cost. The issue was whether something would constitute a derivative work.

Sometimes you don't want much foreplay when paying by the hour.

We all know he won't. His offer to go under oath was obviously for his base, so they can run around bootstrapping the truth of his story with yet another Trump story.

Never any evidence. Never any facts. Just talk.

Trumpists won't see this for some reason. They certainly won't respond to it.

trump doesn't believe he can be held accountable because he never has been. I'm not sure a prosecutor even has the teeth to do it either. In trump's world which is ours now, has to be by force and republicans have bent the knee. A pres has flipped the bird to judiciary before and gotten away with it so idk.

It's only a matter of time before he starts attacking Mueller too. That would be his biggest mistake to date, and his downfall.

People keep insisting this or that will be his downfall. These aren't normal times. Pence is awful too so trump leaving would be just a partial relief and definitely not a celebration, but that's what idiots will do.

So...the committees from House and Senate plus Mueller are all essentially being dared to subpoena Trump? How could they refuse? Trump can't make such an offer and then back down. That makes his pledge to testify under oath a lie. Yikes. Better bulk buy popcorn quick.

Mueller has the power to start taking people down hard, and flipping some of them. These people are not above the law like the President is. When the very same group protecting him starts getting arrested...

Yes, that would be his downfall.

Him saying "I'll testify" is like him saying "I'll release my taxes." More bull**** from a bull**** artist.

If options 1 & 2 are too tough of a decision for Trump, he'll choose ******ED option 3.

His eyes probably lit up when he heard about corruption in Romania, probably thought there was money to be made.

He doesn't expect the GOP controlled congressional committees to ask him to testify. Mueller won't talk to him until he's damn good and ready, which might never happen and wouldn't be public anyway. This is 100% of nothing.

"Shortly after calling into question President Trump's mental health on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe,' House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's own mental health came under scrutiny, as the 77-year-old California congresswoman referred to President Trump as "President Bush" and forgot what day of the week it is."

Maybe ponied, maybe not. But...

Trump's lawyer has to think there's a pretty solid obstruction case for him to allow Trump to contradict Comey on the loyalty and Flynn statements, no?

It took Trump's lawyer five hours from the start of the hearing to release a statement that was poorly written, had numerous typographical errors, and mischaracterized the facts and law and made claims to "privilege" that were borderline sanctionable. I have been saying for a year that his high price "pitbull" NY litigator attorney is a hack. Sometimes people get the help they deserve.

And his big firm corporate lawyers are going to get him impeached with their fake blind trust.
Do you know much about trademark law? I'm wondering how much it is to trademark something in the USA?
