I could be wrong, but no way poco addresses these posts. Though the 1st one has his name in it. But it IS harder to refute.

Someone finally got around to telling senate intel about the Mayflower Sessions Kislyak meeting.

This will lead to nothing since he's their boy.

Trump has given multiple reasons for firing Comey. You choose to emphasize the one you prefer.

The firing came after the top two DOJ officials wrote reasons that Trump accepted as valid for the action.

Also, showboating about a case that one is not personally managing has no effect on the case itself but it does show poor judgment by Comey, the same poor judgment he showed in the Hillary case.

Comey needed to be fired and Democrats celebrated when it happened (until the spin-meisters told them to stop celebrating). It was a good firing.

last night rachel maddow suggested that if trump has a ****ty lawyer defending him, he has a reasonable case to appeal his inevitable conviction if this ever goes to a courtroom on the grounds of having a ****ty lawyer. if he knows he's guilty and all the top law firms refused to represent him.. could this be a move? could intentionally misspelling "president" be a move???

Uh, in the post I quoted you said Comey has a motive to lie and say he was fired because of Russia. Does Trump also have a motive to lie and say Comey was fired because of Russia?

Its possible, he has multiple constituencies he wants to influence and he seems to have a constantly changing stream of consciousness. None of us are inside his head. What you choose to emphasize is on you, not on The Donald.

He was not under oath, so he is allowed to lie like all politicians do.

poconder trying the increasingly popular "Donald Trump is an insane liar but that's your fault, not Trump's, the President has that authority."

Every President has a constantly changing stream of consciousness. You see it when they make close decisions, but most of them don't share it with the world.

This much should be clear to anyone: Trump is compromised. I don't know by by what. It could be anything from pee tapes, to business entanglements. I also don't know by who yet. It might be Putin himself, Flynn, or any number of Russian oligarchs. But he's not just a little compromised. He is severely compromised. And it's just a matter of time before the urine hits the fan.

BREAKING NEWS: COMEY WISHES HE WERE STRONGER

lol right into a Karl Rove segment

lolollll "only indictable offense is comey leaking"
06-08-2017 , 07:47 PM
If I made a browser plugin that would automatically change poconoder's posts to Russian, would you all use it?

My current theory as to why Trump confidently brought up recordings of his conversations with Comey:

Trump asked his Hollywood Upstairs attorneys before speaking with Comey about suggesting dropping the investigation. Instead of a rapidfire "Nonononono," these brilliant legal minds came up with the phrase "I hope."

Cuz you see, if you say "I hope you will" rather than "I order you to," it doesn't count. It's just a hypothetical wish scenario sincerely expressed by the President of the United States to a person under his direct command.

The initial plan was for Comey to say Trump ordered him to let it go, then Trump would release the tapes of him saying "I hope," and voila, chessmate. But then Comey repeated Trump's words verbatim, with the "I hope," and all these smart real lawyer types on TV were still talking about obstruction of justice. So the administration had to abandon ship on this plan.

Real nice FBI you got there, shame if something where to happen to it.

Solid point from twitter, the "he's too much of a dumbass to know that's really bad" defense fails because he knew to clear the room
06-08-2017 , 08:01 PM
Remember when we were promised a strong leader? Instead, we got this coward who sits on the sidelines and criticizes all kinds legitimate career intelligence workers while hiding behind a lawyer who puts out fabricated statements about these innocent, yet harassed employees.

Paul Ryan (paraphrased): "Trump is just stupid so let's definitely let him keep being President."

Him being too stupid isn't a defense to begin with. Stop ceding ground to these pieces of ****.
