so how can Comey giving his own non-classified words to a friend be labeled "leaking?"
06-08-2017 , 03:56 PM
Leaks don't have to be classified, they just have to be things that aren't public knowledge.

So anything the public is told that wasn't public knowledge is now a leak? Like what the President had for breakfast?

Apparently trumps lawyer also claimed Comey "leak" was before Trumps tweet. He was only off his slow pony by 4 days. (Tweet on 12th, NYT article 16th). Did he find this guy under AAAAAAAAAAAAlawyer in the phone book?

That seems to be this administration's opinion, yes.

I'm sure this was the best guy they could find that was willing to risk being stiffed.

Apparently the written response was littered with misspelled words including "president"

This is wrong. It's been talked about by IC heads in these Senate and House hearings. GOP is constantly asking about both "classified" and "non-classified" leaks, and they are told that non-classified items aren't leaks, they're just shared info.

Michael Cohen's just hanging around doing nothing as far as I know.

The requirements for a leak are not public knowledge and the source isn't named. We talk about unclassified leaks all the time ITF. Even coordinated/authorized leaks by WH Comm staff are called leaks.

I'm surprised you don't get tired of being wrong and getting corrected like 95 out of 100 instances.

Stop listening to Trump. He lies at a much higher rate than your average disgruntled former employee. Not that you'll grasp the concept or anything.

Technically, yes. The WH butler could "leak" his breakfast order.

Why does it matter if they're corrected? The audience for these posts isn't the people who disagree with them.

This is some strong shade

He literally came here, created that account, to shill for Trump. Why would he stop listening to Trump?

IDK, if I were on with Jason Miller or Jefferson Beauregard Lord, the first question I'd ask is "When is the last time you disagreed with Trump on this show?"

The problem with listening to pathological liars is you never know when you're wrong, so you're constantly being fixed and ridiculed.

What a pathetic way to go through life.

There is literally no chance GOP will have done anything to prevent Russia from attacking us again in 2018, and literally no chance that Vladimir decides to register Democrat and not favor GOP.

So basically, expect truth and facts to be done within a year or so. We have to figure out how to fight back in THAT kind of environment. Yuck.

You guys seem to be forgeting that Comey was doing a poor job and both parties agree on that. How many times have liberals said so about his actions in October 2016? Both parties had legit gripes about his failures in multiple cases.

You guys seem to be forgeting that Comey did not run the Russia investigation. He was the boss of the whole FBI and the people running all sorts of investigations would update him on their progress, but he didn't get his hands dirty running these investigations himself.

Comey has motive to lie or distract us about why he was fired - to salvage his poor reputation by avoiding admitting to the bipartisan agreement that he was doing a poor job. But trying to make it about Russia doesn't work as his firing would obviously have no effect on the conduct of an investigation he was not personally running.

lol

That statement from Trump's lawyer is real? Wow.

Donald Trump said he fired Comey because of Russia, poconoder.
