The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

It's really incredible getting to watch the breakdown of our system of our government in real time on YouTube while pepe420MAGA spams the chat feed with frog faces and "OK" hand symbols. The future is weird. Oh yeah, and a lot of racial slurs. Lots of racial slurs.

All I'm saying is if Susan Rice tried to pull that **** in front of Congress she would doing the perp walk right about now. And yet Jeff Sessions is the A.G.

also, if you wonder why the GOP wants to destroy education, check out approve/disapprove based on education. It is in the best interest of the GOP to keep the public uneducated and unaware, as if we needed any more evidence.

Coates et al are pulling a novel privilege: the "I'd-prefer-not-to-answer" privilege. My technical legal response: WTF?!?

In a country where two hyper-polarized realities exist simultaneously, 14% of independents have no thoughts on the matter.

LOL independents, forever and always.

I wanted to mess around with PredictIt a bit but there are a lot of fees. 10% fee on profits and 5% withdrawal fee. It is legal and you can deposit with a regular credit card though.

Trump was definitely no fan of the Russian investigation or proper channels of communication.

If Mueller blessed this they may be trying to smoke out more sources, get cooperation by showing part of their hand.

Simp and the Asian provided links. Panel basically saying Comey's attention to detail is evident in his recollections of the conversations and that he is a credible witness, most certainly in comparison to the guys who were quizzed today.

Nothing too explosive or unexpected and I'd like to see the rest of the memos, rather than let this bozo decide what's relevant and what isn't

Comey's statement establishes obstruction of justice by Trump. Period.

It is important to understand that FBI counter-intelligence investigations are different than the more-commonly known criminal investigative work.

That was true; we did not have an open counter-intelligence case on him.
These two sentences are a few paragraphs apart. Is this as relevant as it sounds?

He replied that “the cloud” was getting in the way of his ability to do his job. He said that perhaps he would have his people reach out to the Acting Deputy Attorney General. I said that was the way his request should be handled. I said the White House Counsel should contact the leadership of DOJ to make the request, which was the traditional channel.

He said he would do that and added, “Because I have been very loyal to you, very loyal; we had that thing you know.” I did not reply or ask him what he meant by “that thing.” I said only that the way to handle it was to have the White House Counsel call the Acting Deputy Attorney General. He said that was what he would do and the call ended.

That was the last time I spoke with President Trump.

March 30 Phone Call
On the morning of March 30, the President called me at the FBI. He
described the Russia investigation as “a cloud” that was impairing his ability to act
on behalf of the country. He said he had nothing to do with Russia, had not been
involved with hookers in Russia
, and had always assumed he was being recorded
when in Russia.
06-07-2017 , 02:27 PM
I was also never involved with hookers in Russia. It was a casual thing, very low-key. Still friends with them on FB.
