Who is this guy?

All I can really find is this:

https://www.justice.gov/criminal/his...stopher-a-wray

Tenure: In 2003, Mr. Wray was nominated by President George W. Bush as Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division. He served in that position until 2005.

Later Career: After his service at the Department, Mr. Wray returned to private practice, specializing in white collar and internal investigations.

It appears he didn't have a Wikipedia page until today.

Pence would be an improvement if for no other reason than getting people like Bannon, Miller, Jared and Ivanka out of the White House. He wouldn't be destroying our foreign policy in the way that Trump is. Wouldn't be tight with Russia or bashing our allies. He'd probably get the many open positions in the state department filled. Yes he would be a hyper-conservative schmuck, but of a more standard variety. Trump and company is getting very scary.

Don't hold me to it though.

Seriously, Robert Costa just said on MSNBC that he's an opponent of Comey and Trump defender on TV who calls the WH almost every day.

As mentioned, Chris Christie's lawyer from Bridgegate and he said something bad regarding the opioid crisis (so likely another Sessions type).

We don't need to know anything about him other than Trump supports him.

Sick that he announced his corrupt FBI Director nominee at 6:30 a.m. on Twitter.

Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people
Requiring constant admiration
Having a sense of entitlement
Expecting special favors and unquestioning compliance with your expectations
Taking advantage of others to get what you want
Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
Being envious of others and believing others envy you
Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner
Thanks for the confirmation...?

Why?

Awval, aside from that one time you said you were fed up after Trump proposed some thing that hurt your wallet a little, have you ever criticized Trump for his actions? I don't remember anything.

Trumps twitter addiction is really bizarre. He can't stop, that much is obvious. He's like a teenage girl who posts a selfie on FB and just clicks refresh over and over to see if she gets more likes. Just really disturbing behavior from a 70yo man. Will (hopefully) be his downfall.

Trump tax breaks so good that they'll destroy the GOP, lead to debt default, and ultimately result in higher taxes on the rich. It's the long game.

Are people here familiar with BridgeGate? At the end of the day, it ended with one or two of Christie's aides, you know the low level student loan people, going to prison while he skated off to the next buffet at wherever he eats. It's not a wonder Trump would pick him. This ought to terrify the hell out of anybody who works in the Trump administration except for the highest level 3 or 4 people.

I'm just wondering if you are able to see all the international rifts and covering up and everything we're always talking about, or if you think we're all crazy.

This seems like an entirely reasonable choice. Career DOJ guy, well credentialed, current partner at highly regarded D.C. firm.

What am I missing?

which is why 50,000 mental health professionals have petitioned that he's unfit for office. they don't have to actually sit down with him and conduct an evaluation because his public behavior ticks off every single checkbox so completely

it is. it's a mixture of critical thinking skills, self awareness and self confidence that cult followers lack, which is why they mentally bury all the red flags along the way. facing the truth and decimating their worldview by admitting that they were wrong is too traumatic for their psyche to handle, so they project their own faults onto others. same process by which donks overestimate their ability in poker, berate others, refuse to sit down and study, etc.

"drinking the koolaid", another GOP favorite since herman cain, was coined from the jonestown massacre.

This is what our politics has become. Eric says "Democrats aren't even people" and Dems call Trump fascist or nazi etc. Both sides going all out to demonize the other, throwing out nonsense epithets without hesitation.

Heh I googled him and was asked, "Did you mean Christopher Wren?"

So now I'm reading about Christopher Wren

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Wren

Seems like a cool guy, I would support his nomination
