I haven't made any dvautian post about it or anything, but I've made several comparisons to Wally George. Most people around here are too young to get it though. You must be old. Also maybe Wally George wasn't known outside California, dunno.

I think the actual answer stumped and owned him perfectly.
There are some good counters to that (like the 90 day ban is supposed to over already, and the people on the ban list dont attack us as much as the people where trump wants to builds golf courses) but thats not how those shows work so you are probably right.

I used to watch wally george as a preteen in so cal. I quickly grew out of that, but it's where part of my understanding of the derposphere comes from. Like what would I think if I were still 12, with no additional growth or education? I'd be like Stephen Miller, but with more brains. What if 12 y/o me had the internet and 4chan and could let their freak flag fly?

I think there was a significant documentary on wally george about 5 years ago. Roger Ailes and Fox and Rush should owe him like a billion in royalties.

I watched the show a bit when I was like 17, but I only ever took it as a joke.

Now if there is more to this, like the NSA just sat on the report or something, then sure. Leaking it is the right thing. But if there is no other shoe to drop then it's at best irresponsible and pointless. At worst it makes it even harder for the IC to make the connections they need to prove collusion.
The info being in the public domain makes it more difficult to derail Comey's hearing with endless questions about evidence of hacking. It happened - so now we can move on to a collusion investigation and Trump interference.

Uhhh, you're wrong, get your head of Orange gorillas ass. A simple Google search will show 5 different UK lawmakers including Kahn pushing to stop trump from coming. Sad

He literally just finished meeting with a bunch of Muslims who wanted him to visit.

I worked for a Reagan-appointed federal judge in law school who was barely confirmed (unfairly, great judge), and he was happy when Muller was appointed to lead the FBI because of his integrity, smarts, and competence. This is when Mueller was just US Attorney for the NDCA.

These guys know nothing about govt/nat. security law, or law in general. Just operating a war room in the manner they desire will probably result in multiple obstructions of justice charges, on purpose and on accident. Then there's no AC privilege with them or even WH staffed lawyers, so anything that happens can be asked about, under criminal penalty, by the FBI. They need outside counsel at a minimum, and to not be conferring with one another. So, there will be no war room, just Spicy/Huckabee lying their ass off and dodging, telling the principles not to give them actual info or it could implicate them. Trump's lawyer should demand review of any proposed tweet, etc.

This is no different from JaRule and that biz tool deciding it would be an awesome idea to have a music festival in the Bahamas (Fyre Festival, look it up) while having no idea how anything of this works. It all went to **** and they appear to have no idea why. They will learn over the course of multiple class actions. Again, there will be no "war room" just as there will be no actual "recordings" of Comey or "trial" in the Trump U case. These guys are all bluff and no knowledge. In fact, it's unfair that they get dealt the worst cards and insist on bluffing every hand. This is 25% into the process where the lag fish goes from up $2k to stuck.

BTW, apparently, Muller gets his own choice of personnel. They will be ringers.

From Watergate to Enron, Mueller’s team brings storied prosecution pedigrees

If I were Kushner's lawyer my advice would be, "pray you haven't done anything wrong."

See how these guys tattle on one another in the press. Think they'll keep quiet when threatened with criminal prosecution?
"Former Obama DOJ spokeswoman Emily Pierce called Weissmann “an inspired choice” to help Mueller lead the Russia probe.

“As a fraud and foreign bribery expert, he knows how to follow the money. Who knows what they will find, but if there is something to be found, he will find it,” she said.

Mueller has more spaces to fill. Cliff Stricklin, a former assistant U.S. attorney who worked with Weissmann on the Enron case, said the “ideal team for something like this” would be around six to eight prosecutors.

The special counsel will also add administrative assistants and is likely to tap experts from other agencies as specialized needs arise. That could include Treasury Department staffers who know about money laundering or IRS agents who could help untangle complicated tax returns. FBI agents also are likely to cycle through, though that number isn’t likely to be very large."
...
As they dig, Mueller and his team could find useful evidence in Trump’s personal Twitter feed, which Zeidenberg said is a “gold mine” of time-stamped thoughts and opinions from the president on matters under investigation. They’ll also be positioned to study posts from associates like Roger Stone, who openly touted his communications with Russian hackers and associates of WikiLeaks last summer just before the site posted stolen emails from Podesta.

Mueller’s team also will be on the lookout for evidence of obstruction of justice, such as the destruction of any records that could have provided links between the Republican and Russia.

BTW, note how Reality Winner was arrested a few hours after her leak was made public? Think Kushner, Flynn, Manafort, Cohen, or Trump are more careful?

Something I'll enjoy about this is seeing Trump's high-priced aggressive hack lawyers twist in the wind. They can't bully Mueller and his crew, they aren't actually up to good lawyering, and their client is the best witness against himself.

DONALD TRUMP’S WORST DEAL

Prediction: at some point Trump will claim that the fact he made people sign NDAs means they can't give testimony against him. This is 100% wrong, and his overbroad NDAs are largely unenforceable anyway, but it's the sort of thing Trump believes.

The media loves his tweets, especially Trump haters. He's just confusing the "FAKE MSM" with his own staff and lawyers, because (to borrow from Jon Lovett) he's a dotty old man.

The only one really going after him for tweeting recently is Kellyanne Conway's husband, who is a partner at elite law firm. (Not a good law firm like Jones, Day, but an elite law firm.)

BTW, people who say Trump should stop tweeting are gonna start getting punched in the face. Even Democrats are saying it and it's pissing me off. They should know better.

1) Enough with the ****ing blame game from the White House! It's Twitter's fault now too?? I don't see how the platform matters. Taking away tweets solves nothing at all. The POTUS still has to comment, either through TV interviews or press conferences, Facebook videos & statements, Office of the Presidency statements, press releases, something.

2) He and his whole team spent months going around telling everybody how tweets are his best and most reliable way to communicate with the public, directly, and without media bias.
