The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Someone needs to leak that report on torture before Trump burns it.

I suspect there's a bigger thing in the works. Something that Trump was really paranoid about and that's why he kept asking Comey if he was under investigation. Something that made him panic into firing Comey when it became clear that he wasn't going to drop it. That's the part that we'll find out about at some point. But i agree, its not likely to happen Thursday.
Well sure. After all, the one person who knows for sure if the investigation is going to end up implicating Trump is Trump himself. Dude is probably literally ****ting his pants on a nightly basis that he's going to get found out and the whole thing is going to come crashing down around him.

And if that happens I'd probably feel a pang of regret myself at his fall. So much so that I'd probably only drink a single bottle of champagne to celebrate, rather than the two I had planned.

Oh really, how? And whatever the methods used, are they so super secret and awesome that a government run ATC system couldn't, you know, copy them?

It's official, our top ally wants nothing to do with us. What a disgrace.

The London mayor, Sadiq Khan, has called on the British government to cancel a planned state visit by Donald Trump after being criticised in two tweets by the US president.

Obama admin started working on NextGen to switch from radar based to GPS based tracking in 2009. Budget constraints (guess who did the constraining) has hampered progress.

Also from that guardian article...

I don’t think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for,” he said.

“When you have a special relationship it is no different from when you have got a close mate. You stand with them in times of adversity but you call them out when they are wrong. There are many things about which Donald Trump is wrong.”

I found the video. I was also really bad at the paraphrasing. What Lord said exactly about the Mayor was, "You're not taking care of the terrorism."

The rest of it was like we said with Orlando and Giuliani. Lord is nuts.

Oh yeah, at the end, he said "The buck stops here" for Mayors and also Presidents LOL!

Not that CNN is that liberal, but Lord is such a token that it's a sham. His element is like a joke. It's like the guest on the Wally George show. Anderson Cooper doesn't call him an idiot and throw him off the set, but it's implied.

Did anybody see Lawrence O'Donnell lay into Trump HARRRRD in his opening? He needled him psychologically. Talking about his staff ****ing around with him and how Trump will be able to sleep each night waiting for Comey to testify and end his presidency. Heh.

wtf. Haven't been paying attention and just skimming. I thought there was just a standard complaint about a reality show winner being in the administration. Like Omarosa or Trump himself or whatever. Just seen that the leaker's name is "Reality Winner", ffs.

Will catch on DVR. Damn shame Maddow's been so sick and has been out for 10 days. Starting to worry, but she phoned in on Friday.

Saw someone tweet that if we're living in a simulation they could at least make the nba finals close and go to 7 games.

Yeah, been waiting every day for her return. Joy said before that she talked to Rachel earlier herself.

Watching it now, cheeto's pissed at Sessions for recusing himself (Jefferson Beauregard wasn't the stand up guy Trump thought he owned), and O'Donnell seems pretty confident that Trump's about to fall.

Honestly I think he was expecting that reply and was ready to spin it. " No it would be the liberals fault for blocking his ban, Trump is the only reason the terrorism is happening in London and not here. " etc etc

I think the actual answer stumped and owned him perfectly.
