I strongly disagree. The narrative from the admin/GOP has been
1. There was no Russian interference in the Election
2. If there WAS Russian interference in the election, there was no collusion between Russia and Team Trump
3. If there WAS Russian interference in the election, it didn't change the outcome
This intel, which is now confirmed thanks in part to the fact that the leaker was arrested, points to 1 being true, and 3 possibly being true. There is absolutely a public interest in this information and that makes it newsworthy.
