lol omg Trump sealing up the travel ban as a no go with those comments. That was literally mentioned at the last hearing, i.e. Trump calls it a travel ban, but gov attorney did not.

This doesn't take any forethought. The courts are keeping him from doing what he wants, so he's going to do everything he can to remove them from the equation. He's just building a case for ignoring their decision when they smack him down.

Chris Cuomo and everyone's favorite DOCTOR (Gorka) just argued for 20 minutes on CNN's New Day about the Travel Ban and Trump's language. Gorka sucks badly. Every answer was a huge dodge from start to finish. One part I liked at the end...

Not trying to give Trump too much credit but it is possible he knows that the ban is gonna get shot down again. So he figures just go off either way so that his supporters know it isn't his fault it isn't getting enacted.

I guess the new line from his Admin handlers (ie everyone but Trump) is that tweets don't matter. Kellyanne went off about it this morning as well.

It begs the question of how many more times are they going to go to this well of, essentially, "His own words don't matter?" Obv this nonsense won't work in a serious court of law, Alex Jones found this out in his custody hearing, but how long will The World be asked to literally ignore the words coming out of his mounth/fingers?

If GWB would have temporally banned all travel from SA nationals after 9/11 would that have passed the strict scrutiny test? That's what ACLU is arguing right?

How I understand it, the reason that the ban is being struck down is because since it appears to target certain Islamic countries without evidence of national security issues.
