IDK if it's possible anymore with Trump's motives and credibility. He may be damaged to the point of no return. Remember, he STARTED without majority support and has progressively alienated more and more citizens.

That said, our structure is becoming more and more like Russia every week. He IS satisfying the Republican want of a small government, but rest assured that government will become extremely powerful. Like Russia, he's also removing dissenters from government positions and creating loyalists in other private positions of power, like banks, giant companies, the IC, whatever.

She claims it's real. if it's not it's a pretty accurate fake. You can look up images of that doc on teh google to verify (SSF 1981 (05/2005)) with "05/2005" being the version number

It's an earlier version of the same form, looks like from 10 of 1988, it's possible they've had extras lying around that long, but could also be fake.

I'm terrified to say this, but a terrorist attack on US soil would probably push him over 50%.

For real, **** this guy and **** Elon Musk and **** all of these virtue-signalling CEOs who are ostentatiously resigning from Trump's Council of Quislings on Twitter. What were you doing ever being on his ****ing council in the first place? Why weren't you resigning when the Muslim ban went down or during any of the other daily outrages that have happened in the past 120 days? You don't get brownie points for realizing in May 2017 that Trump might not be good for the environment.

Good. Gotta keep the pressure on. It's what makes criminals **** up and cover up. Also, there were some decent sized Russia stories today involving Sessions, Nunes (speaking of getting criminals to **** up) and Comey. They were drowned out by climate change, but still there.

I had the Secret Service visit my apartment once, in 2004 IIRC.

I had a neighbor with whom I was friendly, but friendly at arm's length because he was a bit nuts. One of those guys I would reluctantly stop and chat with in the parking lot and then just did a lot of head nodding and smiling until I could end the conversation.

One day, two Secret Service agents knocked on my door and asked if my wife and I had a few minutes to talk. Apparently, this neighbor was at a bar in Sea Island, GA while the G7 Summit was going on. He got drunk and started saying **** about how he wanted to kill President Bush or something.

The agents just asked us a bunch of stuff about him and what-not. They said they knew he was harmless and was just being a stupid drunk, but they are required to follow-up on anything that could be seen as a threat. They were very friendly and never contacted us again.

The end.

In another sign of the importance of taking back at least one House of Congress, the official position of the Justice Dept is basically that the Executive Branch will cooperate with oversight requests from the committee or the Chairman, but requests coming from other members (including the ranking minority member) will only be addressed on a voluntary basis. In other words, Elijah Cummings can pound sand.

If I found one of those on my door I'd say "lol wut" and throw it in the trash. It would never (prior to now) occur to me that it was a genuine visit from the SS.

One thing he knows is numbers. He constantly quotes smaller numbers with larger emotional emphasis to woo over ignorant people. And it works.

The biggest problem (aside from the massive information warfare every other sentence now) is GOP learning from him how to better employ these deceptive tactics, the Democrats constantly exposing it, and the result of a widening division between the groups.

Is that what happened here, or are you just making up what's conceivable and linking it to reality? Assuming Donald ****ing Trump has a government that rationally applies these practices is a mistake, when example after example shows him revenge-hassling liberals and others who don't personally like him. It's criminal.

I/we got a visit from two of them at this combination music/computer store I worked at (back when you could make money selling and fixing PCs). I'd sold some dude a custom built rig and he paid in cash and a couple of the Franklins were phony. They were nice as could be. I didn't get a look at that door knocker though.

Once Trump threatens to cut funding to the states that plan to support the accord, they'll change their tune.
