We've turned a very depressing corner the last few days. Based on a massive propaganda push from Fox and GOP asshats, Trumpists hurt the most by Trumpcare, Budgets, etc. have increased calls for Trump to move along with these frozen policies against their own interests.

GOP mini-Trumps are now pushing the envelope to see what they can get away with. Thanks Trump. Only silver lining is the divide between them.

Part of the reason is that there really isn't a defense at all for Trump's actions, so trying to make one up makes you seem dumb. The rest of the reason is that if you believe the made up reasons you are dumb.
The other part is any defense you come up with will be undone by Trump himself.

this is correct in a general sense but apologizing here is weak. if you're gonna be bold and make provocative art, stand by that **** instead of folding up at the first wind gust that comes your way. ****ing coward.

Glad to see the Trump administration still being as sh*tty as ever when it comes to health care. Got to be Pence's doing, guy really hates sexually active women outside of marriage.

Quote:
The Affordable Care Act requires nearly all employers to offer health insurance that covers access to a wide array of contraceptive methods. The draft proposal, if finalized, would significantly broaden the type of companies and organizations that can request an exemption. This could lead to many American women who currently receive no-cost contraception having to pay out of pocket for their medication.

“It’s just a very, very, very broad exception for everybody,” Tim Jost, a health law professor at Washington and Lee University, told Vox. “If you don’t want to provide it, you don’t have to provide it.”

Vox obtained a copy of the regulation, dated May 23. The Office of Management and Budget is currently reviewing this proposal, the final step before a new regulation is made official. It is unclear whether the Trump administration has made changes to the draft regulation over the past week, or what the final version of the regulation might look like.

And climate change. According to those damn "sources" he's made his decision.

F*cking Cory Booker man
Quote:
Like Warren, Booker is uncomfortable with the attacks he’s launched on Trump. But unlike Warren, he thinks his discomfort is a strength, not a weakness. “I called Donald Trump a liar on national TV, and when I got off TV, I felt bad, because it violated my values,” he says. “I can say he was lying, which is the right thing to do, because he did lie, and he does lie quite often. But I didn’t like to be crossing a line and condemning his soul.”

The point, Booker continues, is that Democrats “cannot become what we are trying to replace.” He likes to quote Martin Luther King Jr. to drive this home. “Darkness can’t drive out darkness. Only light can do that.”
Like I get it, but we already had a lets-come-together President, Barack Obama, and that lead to a historic loss of Democratic seats while Obama was trying to bring the red states and blue states together and all that mantra. Also, I can see being forgiving for some poor schmuck that doesn't follow politics and bought into Trump's lies about changing the system, but Trump himself and the rest of these hateful ghouls who actively make America angrier and dumber? Nah man, f*ck them.

Someone should explain to him that mar-a-lago will be under water soon if we don't do something about climate.

I do like that the first response is, "give it a rest". I'm going to put my odds on he does pull of out the Paris accords, and we keep hearing how Ivanka is valiantly trying to be the sane and liberal force in the White House. Repeat ad nauseam. Remember how Jared was going to be the Democrat in the White House and now it turns out he's the guy talking to Russia and firing the FBI director investigating Russia connections?

I could be wrong, so I guess we'll see.

Trump has to be stopped.

Anyone talking about anything other than the Paris deal is a total moron who should be shunned.

This is the worst political decision in America in decades. It will result in more deaths than the Holocaust and more loss of wealth than all the wars of the past 100 years.

Historians are going to look at our generation as the worst since slavery.

Obama did it? Do the opposite.

And Republicans would take that back in a heartbeat if they could. Even Ben Carson would captain a ship full of those "immigrants" if he had the chance.

Yeah, the baby boomers will be the representation of all that has destroyed our country should it be destroyed.

Ultimately, this is part of the life cycle of a country. Olds had the privilege of living through an America that was the most powerful country in the world. As power and influence fluctuates over time, some generation will get shafted during a downward turn and that happens to be millennials. We will recover but will it be during my lifetime?
05-31-2017 , 09:10 AM
Damn I guess Ivanka didn't save us on climate after all. And as mentioned, important to note that this catastrophic move would have been made by Jeb Bush/Ted Cruz/Paul Ryan/pick your GOP President pretty much. It's morons (and Koch bros.) all the way down.

I might just start calling Paul Ryan Paul Koch because he's pretty much the third Koch bro. at this point.
