I am all for free speech, these people can say and publish what they want, but the law is able to recognize pretexts, and when such "speech" is repeatedly shown as a thinly veiled cover for violence, they do not need to receive a permit. At least make then pay for extra cops or whatever. Extremism in defense of extremism is a vice.

It's not a Great article, but I regularly hear Trump echo Miller's "voice", so it's important to know the source. I'm semi-familiar with the culture that spawns Miller-type views (it's all over the internet), often among young-republican types in college. In fact, if Miller had 20 more IQ points and a better personality, he'd probably be Federalist Society approved Supreme Court material. There have to be some good "deep dive" articles that explore the toxic views of Miller and his kin, which are basically incoherent when you scratch the surface. He's like a Milo with slightly less baggage, who helps set White House policy and drafts important speeches ("American Carnage" being one example).
