thanks trump
Of all the awful things trump has done this is the worst by a very large margin. The world is a far less safe place now.

Really, there is a ton of regulation you have to navigate to develop a piece of property. Attacking Trump for this is a mistake because it's a view that will be seen as reasonable by many many people, thereby hurting your credibility for the countless valid problems with Trump.
You don't see a problem with Trump costing the United States all kinds of allies in Europe because of the way they treated the opening of his golf courses? I don't get it. Is it not petty enough for you? You sound a lot like the Freedom Caucus complaining about Trumpcare1 for not being greedy enough.

He's demolishing our country for bull**** motives. It's a constant pattern that's way too obvious after only 4 months in.

That Merkel comment is more than alarming.

AMJoy on MSNBC scared the daylights out of me a few minutes ago. They kept saying "Look at where we are!" regarding the current state of things.

"Look at where we are!" they said, about Merkel wanting independence from the US. Something Russia has wanted badly since 1947.

"Look at where we are!" they said, that 3 out of 4 of our top generals are defending a secret Russian backchannel, held in their secure facility, and designed to avoid detection by the entire US. "By the end of the week, we'll be debating whether treason is good or bad."

Yup. I'm chilled by it.

Man the UK getting lumped in with team trump is not a good sign for us.
05-28-2017 , 12:04 PM
Hmm. Never seen him use "In my opinion" before. Usually it's just [baseless assertion lacking any evidence]. Have his advisers gotten through to him on how to soften all the blow back when proved false?

I gave up hope on you guys as a moderating influence in the Blair era.

All the lies. All the secrets. Hiding things from everyone not loyal to Trump. The cover-ups. The antics. The weirdest behavior. Why?

AND WHY ALWAYS RUSSIA?

Once we are able to definitively answer that question, everything will make sense and start falling into place. Then it's just a matter of rounding up the culprits. But while it's still a mystery, WTF mannnn? Even a piss tape doesn't explain all of THIS, with so many people involved!

(Next we'll find out that the Kushner story is halfway fake news planted by Russia to **** everything up and give Trump a quick win. Now I'M paranoid lol.)

Good eye-Speculation on Meet The Press was that his lawyers have gotten to him.
Also on MTP Kim Stossel carrying
water for Jared saying that Reagan used a back channel and so did Obama with Iran. Surprisingly, Fox News Sunday seemed to mostly be about Manchester.

I seem to recall Teresa May not wanting an investigation into Litvinenko's murder in London, and she didn't want to criticise the Trump Muslim ban. Best not to expect any decency from her, sadly, especially when he has a base who lap up anything insulting she says about Europe/Merkel no matter how false it is.

Also, the G7 is unanimously against Trump and not a single word in his defense. Where's the Democrat obstructionists? No FAKE NEWS media? The Deep State out to get him? Made-up Russia hoax? Liberal so-called courts? What about Hillary? Obama??

Not a peep.

At the 1-8 'gifted' school I attended, one of the 'dumbest' kids, relatively speaking, who didn't wash out went on to get a PhD in chemical engineering whereas others, let's say, me, for example, who were off the charts of the IOWA test by 3rd grade didn't even graduate HS. This kid was also a good friend of mine and I informally tutored him for years, well into HS. He just couldn't intuitively grasp the concepts like the sharper kids but he just worked so damn hard at it, probably harder than anybody else I can think of off the top of my head.

Again, I'm not entirely sure this is what that poster was getting at, but it's what occurred to me. Understand this kid and I were two opposite ends of the spectrum and most fall in the middle.
Being capable of hard work is a type of intelligence? Even Mozart had to put in his 10,000 hours to achieve mastery.

Your anecdote example here is very good. You cant necessarily change your IQ or recall ability etc by reading books, but you fill your mind with content and models that lets you become alot more reflected than other people that didnt read anything. So your abilities remains the same more or less, but you appear alot more intelligent since you actually know something. A smart guy without books cant even read and cant even math, which is pretty damn useful if you are going to be a reflected person on various topics.
I don't view that as mere appearances, that person is more intelligent because they actually know something.

Is it intelligent to be constantly talking about intelligence when doing so most likely implies unflattering things?
05-28-2017 , 12:52 PM
Speaking of hard work, according to ABC on Twitter, Special Counsel Mueller is already putting in long hours and staffing up the investigation. I also posted how he was already briefed on the Comey memos. That happened 6 days ago.

Hopefully this will take much less than years.

Gen. John Kelly thinks using the Russian embassy for back channel communication is normal and acceptable. Amazing.

I guess some iteration of this post was inevitable, ok, one more Family Guy clip that summarizes how I feel about aflametothegroud.

Of course they end up like Ben ****ing Carson.
100% accurate. Just think about the most basic interactions you have with doctors. The entire system is built with the assumption that the doctor's time is immeasurably valuable and the patient's time is absolutely worthless. There are good doctors out there that actually have some awareness and will try to do what they can to buck this trend but they are swimming upstream.

The older the doctor is and the more specialized they are the worse this is in general.

the specialty itself is of some importance. you aren't gonna find many pediatricians or oncologists who are insufferable *******s
05-28-2017 , 01:19 PM
The doctors I know are pretty cool.

In general a fairly high percentage of people are jerks and when a doctor is a jerk it manifests itself in that god complex. I think the consistency in type of jerk may make it seem like doctors are jerkier than they actually are.
05-28-2017 , 01:22 PM
Yeah that's the thing about Carson he probably was smarter back in the day, but he talks 100% like someone who abuses prescription medication. That **** costs IQ points over decades.

Great. So Kushner just has to show that he tried to establish back-channel communications with multiple countries/organizations and that should get him off the hook. I mean, he couldn't have just done this with Russia alone, right?
05-28-2017 , 02:06 PM
on the body language thing i mentioned earlier, have a look at 1.15 for the walking through door thing. trump is akward but still above this level.
