The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Graham is one of those McCain types who is very reasonable and sensible when he wants to be, and has all the tools to be a great leader for his conservative constituents and make all kinds of progress. But then the next day you watch him cave to far-right stupidity and you remember what a POS weakling he really is.
05-28-2017 , 10:15 AM
To be fair, Graham thought we needed to increase the military budget, which I think is pretty crazy. But he does have genuine, non-political hack aspects, maybe even more so than McCain.
05-28-2017 , 10:19 AM
Graham's just doing what the GOP needs him to. He's a sharp guy and knows a lot of what he does is nonsensical bull****, same as McCain. And like McCain he'll sometimes call it out and play independent/moderate for the cameras and swing voters. But, just like McCain, he tends to buckle when it really counts.

Well spent. WAPO's always been good, but they're on an absolute tear right now. Especially if you want a little less bitchiness (NYT) and fewer pure-idiocy editorials (WSJ). My wife and I have a number of subscriptions but if we could choose one it's WAPO hands-down.

"Whenever you see the words 'sources say'..."

Ok now, we get it, Russian tactics like trying to destroy the lines between truth and lies are your favorite. But it's the behavior of those who know the actual truth that speaks volumes. Like the whole WH grabbing laywers because of fake anonymous sources? Good luck with that one.

Also, nice to see you speak out against Republicans you backed bodyslamming people:

Oh you wasted that condemnation on 'fake news' too? Wonderful.

WaPo def targets the younger, professional crowd. There's local newspapers and CNN for the public at large.

I don't want to sound like an ad, but it seems silly to quibble over $10/month when WaPo seems to be the only outlet left that's doing serious investigative journalism. How many of these bombshells over the past few months have they been responsible for sniffing out? I guess sure Amazon is a better value if you're just going on pure entertainment value.

Nothing to see here.
Are these the two guys who are supposed to be running the Trump business and having nothing to do with politics?

They're unrecused at the moment.

WHY HAS THIS NOT HAPPENED YET?

I bet anything it's because these idiot executives think their Big Data spamming lists are so damn valuable that they can't be shared with anyone. Morons.
I've been getting the email brief from both the NYT and the WaPo and reading the articles in my incognito browser for probably fifteen years. Maybe longer.

Yes I'm a bad person, but I've saved a lot of coin.

Now I'm sure someone will have told this to Trump and the next time they meet Trump will punch him in the face to get revenge. Remember, he always hits back 10x as hard.

You're not a bad person. Very presidential actually.

I've always said (since Jan 20th), it's OK to do anything...as long as it's not illegal. Or if it's illegal, but you can't get caught. Or if you can get caught, but can lie your way out of it. Or if you can't lie your way out of it, but can get the loyalty of public officials. Or...

never, ever let yourself be conned into thinking lyndsey graham is anything but a stupid racist hack politician. he occasionally sounds reasonable when he says things that are critical of trump, but he carries the water constantly. he is not to be trusted nor believed about anything.

Many of my friends from university became doctors and I think very highly of them, very social individuals and very intelligent. At one of their weddings/bachelor party's I met like 10 other doctors and they were all very social, very smart people.
One of my friend's girlfriend had the best grades and best MCAT score out of all of my university friends, but she could never get in to med school because she was not social enough and thus could not get past the med school interview.

Not a single tweet about what happened in Portland, but plenty about an assaulting congressman and the media being fake news. What a disgusting disgrace

WHAT ELSE DID BLABBERMOUTH DO OVERSEAS?
This really isn't anything to make a big deal out of, imo. Everyone's experiences inform their view of how government should be run/structured. The overwhelming majority of people in this country who are opposed to "burdensome regulations' probably based that opinion on a time they were hassled by a government employee or agency. Really, there is a ton of regulation you have to navigate to develop a piece of property. And you can often run into roadblocks caused by local politicians who are corrupt/ have an axe to grind, or from agencies who are being influenced by the same. Attacking Trump for this is a mistake because it's a view that will be seen as reasonable by many many people, thereby hurting your credibility for the countless valid problems with Trump.

Don't forget though that LG tweeted this week that instead of repeal and replace they are just going to let Obamacare die and let the chips fall as they may.

He's essentially sentencing people to die because they won't work with Dems to make improvements to ACA. He's as much of a sociopath as any of them.
