Kushner is still the top story on foxnews, with the headline reading
Quote:
White House mum on new Kushner allegations in Russia probe
. Lots of deplorables read foxnews.

Just thinking...

Lavrov/Kislyak/Trump meeting in the Oval Office is the last time US press was excluded while foreign press was allowed, and look at all the dangerous things that happened in that hour (?) or so.

Anyone else really worried about what unreported stuff could have happened in the last 9 days??

More like 39% but you're welcome, Mr. President.

lol retweeting under 50% approval. From literally his friendliest pollster, no less.

Edit: And Ras is binary on approval, so the flip side of the same poll is 52% disapproval.

Not to mention it's already back down to 46/54 today, as well as a bevy of other polls Thursday and Friday where he posted 37's, 39's, and 40's.

gallup up to 41% now somehow /puke

people liked his trips
05-27-2017 , 10:34 PM
So by my math at least 50 million people in this country are complete ****ing morons
05-27-2017 , 10:40 PM
How'd you come up with that number? Seems like 100 mil would be a lower bound. Fyi, Gallup poll is just adults, not limited to voters.

WaPo Pricing:

Digital Subscription = $99/yr
Digital + Print Subscription = $39/yr

Can I just choose the Digital/Print combo and have the physical copies delivered to the nearest recycling facility? Not making this easy on me, c'mon failing WaPo!!!

Are you sure the $39/year isn't just for the Sunday edition?
05-27-2017 , 11:39 PM
$39 would not even pay for the paper and ink used to make 365 newspapers, so I highly doubt tomrh is correct.
05-27-2017 , 11:59 PM
The advertising revenue generated by a subscriber is absurdly higher for print. I once priced out the cost per subscriber for a print ad at around $0.20 while a display ad online might be a hundredth of that.

It's Sunday print + unlimited digital

Last edited by tomrh3; 05-28-2017 at 12:03 AM. Reason: edit: Unless that's digital Sunday only, looks like I can just get it through Prime so we're good to go

I live in the Seattle area and the amount of hate I'm seeing on Facebook about the Seahawks possibly signing kaepernick makes me smile a bit.

The same people who are up in arms about not saying the pledge in school anymore can't stand somebody excersizing their constitutional right to protest in a non violent manner.

Prime is a sweet deal only 4 bucks/month for wapo

I value the work the Washington Post does very highly and I feel good that my subscription money helps them do it, but I don't really use the services I pay for at all. I'm far more likely to read a WaPo article because it shows up on Google or gets linked to here or whatever. I rarely browse the site directly or use the app. My subscription is basically charity.

Someone tell me how to fix the thing with the WaPo where I can only use their fancy "one story at a time" with a fancy picture interface app and not the here's a bunch of stuff like on the NY Times app app.

Some pretty shameless dishonesty by WaPo in this picture. They calculate the annual price by multiplying the discounted weekly price by 52, even though the discount only applies for the first few weeks. Fake news imo.

Nah, if you click you can choose to pay for the full year up front at that price.

“I just wanted to congratulate you because I am hearing of the unbelievable job on the drug problem,” Trump told Duterte, according to the transcript. “Many countries have the problem, we have a problem, but what a great job you are doing and I just wanted to call and tell you that.”
USA#1 is now Petoria

Woah, you can get physical copies for 25 cents apiece with an annual subscription? That is ****ing sick, like 1970s prices.
05-28-2017 , 01:14 AM
Honestly, WaPo bombshells are like the arsenal of democracy at this point. Everyone should look into getting an electronic subscription.

I mostly read it on the Kindle, had very few technical snafus.
