The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

How hilarious would it be if Russia just completely underestimated how stupid Trump and all his associates were and they all get ****ed.

Considering how casual Trump and Kushner are about doing fishy stuff and covering it up what do you think their taxes are like?

Dershowitz might be smart enough to know that liberals and the left are usually right, but he hates them so much that he will never be on their side.

Isn't he extraordinarily liberal? He's one of the biggest anti-police anti-prosecutor talking heads out there.

It seems fishy to me that the NSA apparently hacked comms between Kislyak and Moscow. How is that stuff not encrypted?

I can't believe how conspiratorial this is getting, but this story about the server in Trump Tower seems relevant again. Were they using it as the back-channel until the NYT came calling? Traffic between the servers stopped after that, according to Slate.

Wouldn't be too shocking if Kushner was trying to get a new back-channel open if their old one had to be closed.

Man, I have never seen such a group of morons trying to do anything. It's like the worlds worst startup. Someone needs to explain to the public that being rich has little to do with bringing smart or virtuous. Jared used to visit his dad in federal prison every weekend, so he'll know the drill.
05-26-2017 , 09:35 PM
Kushner's lawyer just responded saying Jared has no recollection of the events as stated.

Holy ****, The Trump org is Pied Piper... except they don't have a super genius working for them.

Because if he did have such a recollection, he committed a felony in failing to disclose the meeting. This makes crafting a legal position and statement pretty straightforward.

Furthermore, if the story is accurate, thise comms are no longer hacked because the Russians now know.
05-26-2017 , 09:39 PM
Weeeeeeehooooooooooo book em Danno.

Hahahaha, gg Jared

More than one way to get content of a communication.

Too bad about Hillary's lack of email security.

Well, he is a defense attorney. He is a Democrat. I guess he's a generally conservative Democrat, leaning libertarian, very hawkish on Israel.

That .5% of Rosneft theory is starting to look like something. Money has to be involved.

Also, WaPo first learned shortly after event via an anonymous letter.

FBI is looking to see if there was any quid pro quo

Quote:
FBI investigators are examining whether Russians suggested to Kushner or other Trump aides that relaxing economic sanctions would allow Russian banks to offer financing to people with ties to Trump, said the current U.S. law enforcement official.

WaPo guy on Maddow said anon letter had lots of good stuff, including Eric Prince meeting in Seychelles. Not all had been disclosed.

How ironic if Donald's pee tape is real and he's brought down by his hatred of Obama. He became the most powerful man in the world, and pissed it all away.

Jared did meet with a few Russian bank guys who could have doubled as Russian agents as well so there's that.

I think Fox and Breitbart ratings are diving because their viewers are tired of winning so much

Dominos starting to fall imo

Oleg V. Deripaska, a Russian oligarch once close to President Trump’s former campaign manager, has offered to cooperate with congressional committees investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, but lawmakers are unwilling to accept his conditions, according to congressional officials.

Perhaps an important word from the WaPo article:
Quote:
For instance, according to those officials and the letter, Kushner conveyed to the Russians that he was aware that it would be politically sensitive to meet publicly, but it was necessary for the Trump team to be able to continue their communication with Russian government officials.
