Your post really didn't show that.
Your post outlined a few commonalities between the two but there are stark differences between the two.
Ford met or talked with average citizens and workers and by all accounts was friendly with them. He didn't seem to have a Messiah complex at all. He seemed to act like he was still people and not above people like Trump does.
His policies may have sucked, but that isn't like something common between Trump and him as much as it is common between a lot of politicians. AFAIK even if Ford made some racist remarks, he never proposed anything close to Trump's worst policies he has tried to push.
And some of his bad side seems to be at least explainable by drug and alcohol problems. Where as Trump is just a sociopathic daddy's boy.
