If the GOP were smart, they would cut ties w/ this guy. He's just a random dude from Montana. They can say the crap they love saying about having "family values" and "this is not who we are."

He's not even really from Montana.
05-25-2017 , 11:55 AM
Gianforte still going to win by ~5. It's a good sign for Dems, though, and it probably won't be portrayed as such.

I'm sure they are "troubled" for realz. But a win is a win, if you can be president after admitting sexual assault why can't you be a congressman after a physical assault?

Looks like Trump tapped out there at the end.

Like, Trudeau still played it fairly straight and just tried to keep it equal. Marcon just ****ed Trump up. The close up of the final few seconds as Trump tries to escape is amazing.

waaf

I used to think this way but with the appointment of the special counsel and trump's obstruction of justice, donny being elected very well may be the best possible outcome for dems and the future of our country. He's so incompetent and has so many scandals he can't pass any major legislation and the GOP is on record for introducing these horrible bills.

The alt-right is trying to seize this oppurtunity but if he gets impeached and other GOP members to down in the process, it will be a death blow to the party. Someone mentioned that we just need to wait to the olds to die and the next generation that believes in science and has more progressive policies will take over. This will speed that process up significantly and GOP will try to jump ship when it's too late(I believe evidence will come out that is too damning for them to ignore.)

Better than you advocating that Montanans vote for a guy who just got charged with a misdeamenor so Republicans can play hot potato with the seat.

Three White House officials told The Daily Beast that Chief of Staff Reince Priebus has privately expressed worry about a possible Comey memo specifically involving one of their reported chats, and how it might play in the press and to investigators. ...

Is that the best you can do??

Your president is exposing government secrets, getting owned by leaders everywhere, breaking laws left and right to cover up God knows what, and is the laughing stock of the whole world. WE DON'T WANT HIM!

Your move...

I am firmly in the he will b impeached camp. In fact, the day of "comeys revenge" 5/30 will be the day of trumps demise officially began.

Why are you more upset about a casual observation by einbert than the guy that actually physically assaulted a reporter? Have you no respect for the 1st Amendment?

That's the problem with being a "yes" man to a chronic criminal. When the **** hits the fan and people are asked to be held responsible, your answer is "yes" there too.

100% this. Trumps whole life is break all the rules written and unwritten and get the hell out of dodge with a big sack full of loot before all that rule breaking comes home to roost and leaving collapse and ruin in his wake. He managed to find new marks each time (the banks, private investors in junk bonds, trump U suckers etc etc) becaue no one really looked into him before dealing with him they just saw the big gold letters and they each just took all the rules (written and unwritten) for granted. Now he's actually being scrutinised and people are prepping for him hopefully time it'll be him in ruins by the end. Hopefully he won't be abke to skip town with the loot one last time. A fools hope maybe.

most glaring part of the daily beast report...

"According to CNN, Priebus asked Comey and his then-top deputy, Andrew McCabe, on Feb. 15 to refute news reports about conversations between Trump campaign staff and Russian government officials. Comey and McCabe reportedly refused. The White House denied the story at the time.

That conversation happened the day after President Trump reportedly asked Comey to dial back the bureau’s investigation of retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump’s ousted, and preferred, national security adviser. As first reported by The New York Times, the former FBI director subsequently documented that conversation in a memo that leaked last week."

Anybody else fiending for bombshells? I can't wait for lard ass to return from the middle east (and Israel, and other parts) to face the music. Maybe we'll be fortunate enough to learn that some major shells were being held back while he was away.
