U.K. Police Stop Sharing Intelligence With U.S. After Leaks, BBC Reports

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ks-bbc-reports

Do we know which department leaked? Or was it dopey again or someone else from dopey's admin?

Because if it wasn't dopey, we could have been able to say it was an isolated incident...had it not been for dopey's other leaks to the Russians and in Israel. (EDIT: And the submarines with Duterte, if we're counting that)

This is bad. If Theresa May (a woman leader) gives him a scolding like she promised, he will be outraged. That means dopey comes home on a vengeance mission against the media and the IC. We're so screwed.

suppose the brits know whom they shared that intel with so they will know. i guess intelligence staff angered by trump would be a good bet. i suppose that number's pretty big by now.

turns out pitting all intelligence services of the country against you doesn't help international relations or your presidency.

Imagine if the GOP made this move by design.

Let's pass horrifying health care bill, have Trump say he wants even though he's never read it, watch approval ratings drop and then use it as an excuse to move away from him.

If the GOP really wanted to distance themselves from Trump, they've had about 5 octillion chances to do so already.

Nope, this health care bill is exactly what the GOP wants.

Honestly, re: the Montana seat.

If this results in Gianforte getting elected and Congress sucking worse, it's much more likely we can pick up the seat in 2018, when it really matters anyway. It would be nice to win now, but 2018 is the real goal.

WOW. DeVos is as horrible as everyone imagined

Quote:

1. States should have the flexibility to decide whether private schools that accept students with publicly funded vouchers can discriminate any students for any reason

2. States should have the flexibility to decide whether students with disabilities who are using publicly funded vouchers to pay for private-school tuition should still be protected under the IDEA federal law

...

...

5. DeVos wouldn’t say whether private and religious schools that accept students paying with public funds should be held accredited or held accountable in the same way that traditional public schools are

Yeah but if they did that before, they would have lost their voters.

Driving this wedge between Trump and his supporters could give the party an opportunity to reject Trump without losing their constituents.

You're saying GOP is finally starting to throw Trump under the bus? Possible, but we definitely need to see more evidence of it before making that kind of assumption.

The whole ****ing administration is worse than anyone could have imagined. The most tolerable person is probably Rex Tillerson, and he's reminiscent of the ****ing smoking man from the X-files.

Watched the sheriff press conference. Basically said nothing of value. Main thing was to ask people to stop calling because it was clogging up dispatch.
He might have been in a little bit of shock about what just happenned, given that he probably didn't expect to be assaulted by a congressional candidate...

McMaster is currently in the process of destroying a lifetime pristine reputation because of tremendous Trump pressure. The guy is dragging EVERYONE down with him.

So you're saying the GOP is playing.... 4D chess?

"Imagine" is the key word there.

Dunno if this makes much of a difference:

This is going to be another annoying election night where the democrat beats his polls but the republican still wins, the republicans everywhere celebrate like they just had a 20 point victory, and democrats are further demoralized and vote less next time around. It's a vicious cycle. I'd say the democrat loses by 2-3 points.

According to Nate Silver the other day, if this race is even in single digits, that's extremely worrying news for the Republicans for the long-term trend. Of course the whole choke slam thing might shift things a bit, but if it's a 2-5 point race that is still an incredible indicator for Democrats.

Let's see how greedy GOP gets today. Will leadership speak out against Republican thugs who beat up their political opponents, or will they let the guy have a seat unobstructed?

Even worse, can they afford for him to win?

No no, Im saying its a good thing Gianforte didn't have a gun on him. That reporter was being ultra aggressive. He must have feared for his life. STAND YOUR GROUND!
