Even if Trump is somehow clear of collusion with Russia, seems like there is a really good case for obstruction of justice. He legit went to the FBI, NSA, NSI and asked all their directors for help shutting down or discrediting the investigation and all of the directors kept memos of it.

Obstruction of justice is what Nixon was impeached for.

Well the voters will determine that. If the GOP continues to lose support and Trumps approval ratings continue to drop it will matter. If their support stays pretty strong then it wont.

I have a feeling though that there will be one of the biggest voter turnouts in for a midterm election ever, and even if GOP support doesn't fall a ton there will be butt load of independents and lazy democrats who don't vote midterm that will show up. Crazy republicans might not turn on Trump, but I think the rest of the country will.

Only thing that will save Trump IMO would be a bunch of terrorist attacks.

As for KimDotcom. The fact that people believed him is absolutely hilarious. I actually posted about this in T_D subreddit and got downvoted into oblivion.

During the election dude was claiming he had access to Hillarys deleted emails and was going to release them, and then had absolutely zero follow through. He's just a right wing crazy person like the rest who happens to be good with computers. He has zero credibility.

It's a little win win for republicans (probably in hindsight for them). If Trump truly is innocent, a non-partisan neutral arbiter will declare it so and the dems can't attack the decision like they could if the republican led congressional committees declared it so. If Trump is guilty, well that sucks for them, but then they don't have to pander to the base anymore to protect him, since, again, a neutral arbiter has turned up evidence, and they get President Pence, or Possibly President Ryan, or hysterically President Hatch.

Edit: This is why nobody on the Dem team should want Trump impeached/forced to resign prior to the 2018 midterms (unless you are legit scared of him causing the end of hte world which I guess is possible), because if dems can retake the house there is an extremely outside chance that they get the presidency if Pence turns out to be tied up in this as well.

Edit Edit: Although this has an extraordinarily low chance of happenning, the irony of Donald Trump colluding with the Russians to stop the first female president from occurring (a centrist democrat at that), only to lead to President Nancy Pelosi in 2019 would be rich.
