The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

So Emptywheel is piecing together all the smoke that's coming from Kushner. Basically all those improper communications that Flynn had Kushner also had so Trump's odd loyalty to Flynn might be less personal loyalty but knowing that Flynn was helping or knows something about Kushner and wants to keep him close.

It's a bit long and there's no big smoking gun just a lot of putting puzzle pieces together.

You think he's hired personal security? FBI pals watching (out for) him?

no wonder jared's tasks of bringing peace to the middle east and revamping the entire government aren't going anywhere when he has to talk to the russians all the time...

Come on. You can always hate **** her if you hate everything she stands for.
I'd take his wife Sophie over Ivanka all day long.

Both Obama votes were decided last minute. I really liked McCain, but the whole financial crisis thing while I was in college made me want #hopeandchange. 2+2 LOL explains the Ron Paul primary vote. Obama in 2012 because **** RMoney.
My bad...i got you confused with another poster that has the same avatar and screen name who was too dumb to remember who he actually voted for.

The most amazing thing about this Russia meeting is that anyone with two brain cells to rub together could see that confronting Lavrov about the hacking and referring to the Comey firing as a reluctant necessity was the right play. Luckily he's every bit the ****** of the Daily Beast quotes so instead he confessed to obstruction. Fun times.

For real. No surprise if he were to "unexpectedly" drop dead just before testifying.

Maybe who knows why but Jared Kushner just deleted all his tweets.

Yes, I voted for McCain in the 2008 Ohio GOP primary. Because, literally Mike Huckabee had to be defeated. But, yes, I always liked McCain.

Again, financial crisis hit in September/October.

I just cannot believe you can make (and lose, and make again) billions of dollars in the private sector as a complete idiot.

The bolded is literally true. Rich = Smart is just an axiom for some people despite near infinite evidence to the contrary.

Romney was too much of a phony for you so you voted for Trump? That's some facepalm right there.

Why the **** would Kushner do that?!?!?!?!

He deleted everything. I mean braaaaaaaaaaahhhh
05-19-2017 , 07:53 PM
Surely wayback machine archives exist for twitter right?

Fair enough..you called yourself a McCain voter when talking about how Obama was doing even though you voted for Obama. Do you understand why people might be very, very skeptical about your claims that you understand tax brackets? Maybe your intent was to say you dont understand tax brackets but you are also too dumb to express that correctly.

No, that IS the point. There's a big difference between 16 tabling Party Poker in 2004 to buy an Audi and a nice watch and extracting BILLIONS of dollars in equity out of the world economy over many decades.

Most of us went busto and stuck around out of habit.

So you still don't think Trump is stupid?
05-19-2017 , 08:21 PM
Trump had the backing of his father's money and real estate experience, bet heavily in New York real estate (which many people said was insane at the time) and won big. Then he bet even more on 1. USFL football, 2. Atlantic City casinos and 3. an airline called Trump Air. Just read about any of those three and you'll soon realize the full level of his incompetence.

Some people succeed in spite of themselves. Trump is that guy. His biggest asset is that somehow he's managed to paint himself as the embodiment of the American Dream, which is why so many people -- most of whom will never even have a fraction of the wealth he has/had -- are so fascinated by him. But if literally any of them looked past what they see on the surface they'd realize quickly that he's mostly a sham. The thing is most of those people simply don't want to. Nobody wants to see their heroes exposed like that.

They want him to be the person he says he is, because they need to believe that one day they might be able to be like him. Even though 99.9999% of them never will.
