I cant tell sometimes which posts are trolls or not (the fatkid one amongst others).
People who posted fake quotes and links/pics have made me lost a lot of confidence in any new post.
I dont click on everything and I doubt about everything that is posted.
Especially since reality is even weirder than a monty python episode.

Reality is about to get weirder as I tell you that fatkid's post was probably the only fake in this thread for maybe a month (?) or so. Chew on that.

If it's real he must be the dumbest person on earth simply for the fact he believes the electoral college is slanted in the Dems favor.

Do we like Joe Lieberman? or is he still hated for what he said during the Florida recount in 2000?

Why would you think he believes it?

We still hate Lieberman for all sorts of reasons. He's a very hateable person.

By standards of this week the Wittes bombshell is relatively tame. Basically Comey complaining that Trump was continuously trying to co-opt him and details of how he resisted and documented the interactions. But then you get to the end of the article and Wittes throws one high and tight to Rosenstein.

Quote:
Mr. Wittes said that in another conversation he told Mr. Comey he was encouraged by the fact that the Senate was likely to confirm Rod J. Rosenstein, a longtime federal prosecutor, as the deputy attorney general.

To Mr. Wittes’s surprise, Mr. Comey did not completely agree with him.

“He said, ‘I don’t know. I have some concerns. He’s good, he’s solid but he’s also a survivor and you don’t survive that long without making some compromises and I’m concerned about that.’”

Weeks after his confirmation, Mr. Rosenstein wrote a memo that Mr. Trump initially cited as the justification for firing Mr. Comey. Mr. Rosenstein told members of the Senate on Thursday that Mr. Trump had already decided to fire him when he wrote it.

Super disappointing, mostly hearsay ("I heard Comey say he heard X").

Gotta be fair and give both sides reasons to want to kill each other.

I believe Comey is going to disappoint you. He gave some testimony that the FBI has never had to deal with someone trying to stop an investigation. His farewell letter included words stating that the president has every right to fire him even though he didn't have to write that, and would actually be a bit odd to write if he thought he was being fired for not stopping the investigation. Most importantly he has to downplay the significance of Trump's dinner comments to avoid getting in trouble himself.

It's highly likely pictures of some sort were in the room where he perished so your theory seems more and more likely.

pretty sure comey saying he wasnt asked to stop the investigation came from a precise question, which didnt include the president

We already went over how out of context that testimony is and how disingenuous it is to connect it to Tromp

Nice try tho

Yeah I don't think Lieberman has many friends in the senate at this point. He essentially sold his party out and yet is still one of them when it comes to the other side.

I would guess he would be very difficult to get confirmed.
