bah, washington post somewhere. Basically the reason there are rules people can't just use campaign finance funds for their own pocket is because of mike pence. Shame they didn't name it after him, maybe we could've avoided this situation.
Me personally? I'd ask inane questions for my own amusement.
Everyone in general. You personally works too. Pretty much anybody here is easily smart enough to get confessions out of him. Perjury? A slug could get him to do that.
Now that I think about it, asking Trump a set of questions then asking him the same exact questions later on works great.
there are multiple fbi investigations and a special independent prosecutor looking into what a senior republican senator is calling a "criminal investigation" into the ScreaminAsian campaign. And to that i state positively that i, for sure, personally, didn't get my hands dirty with any of what you're accusing the campaign of. and i'd also like to add that i was only a part of that campaign for a very limited time.
So the GOP had to vote for the terrible bill and look terrible doing so and it won't even make it to the Senate? Nice.
(To be fair, there really would have been a base/funder revote if they couldn't pass anything. At least they can say they showed up for the attendance mark even though they got an F on the exam.)
Don't forget that they immediately threw a party on the white house lawn to talk about how great they are all the while fully knowing they had no idea what they just voted for.
Republicans are just looking out for the middle class
Quote:
One of the central parts of President Trump’s tax plan is to cut taxes on what are called “pass-through” businesses. Proponents pitch that as a big boost for middle-class owners of small businesses.
But a new analysis from the Tax Policy Center finds that aside from making Trump personally a lot richer, the pass-through provision would almost entirely benefit the wealthy
Quote:
With the broad income definition, three-quarters of the benefit would go to highest-income one percent of households, who make $700,000 or more. They’d get an average tax cut of about $76,000, or 4.8 percent of their after-tax income
By contrast, fewer than five percent of middle-income households would get a tax cut, averaging $370.

Me: So Mr. President, what do you think about the price of butter?
Trump: I love trade, but Canadians are killing us on butter. I love dairy. Dairy isn't what it used be. They used to deliver milk right to your door. Did you know that? Not anymore folks. Not anymore. Canadians undercut the market....
Isn't this just the Oliver North redux? Oliver North breaks laws, ostensibly works with forces antagonistic to American values, friends and well-wishers apologize for his behavior and declare him well-meaning super patriot.
Yeah, pretty much the same thing. At least it makes sense, though: "I'm a hero ho only broke laws to keep you safe." Kind of hard to do that when you're collecting a big check in the process.
It's such a bad lie though. It would be like the Cubs bitching about beating the Indians in the World Series last year by saying "The only reason the Indians lost the World Series last year is because the American League let them win 3 games."
Like, it's not even a lie. It's a complete bull**** tangent off a lie.
