I feel like I have been letting Trump supporters off the hook for their dumbness the last couple days.

However #BoycottStarbucks refilled the dummy reservoir. Starbucks announced they would provide 10k jobs worldwide to refugees and they start a boycott and say "we got mericans and vets who need those jerbs".

Hey dummy dumbersons you are too dumb too even work at Starbucks if you can't comprehend what "worldwide" means.

Isn't it funny how those that complain about the gentle snowflakes on the left are the ones to be hurt by words?

So the Quebec attacker was a white nationalist? Spicer/trump, with the ultimate twist on victim blaming, exploit the event in defending trump's Muslim ban.

They had a similar campaign of hiring 10k vets in 2014.

Trump voters are the WOAT.

Of course Starbucks already has a vet hiring program already. They employ thousands of vets and military spouses. Try telling that to the trumpkins though.

Anyone know what the details are of this "one in, two out" or w/e the %*** regulation thing that's just been put in?

They need to put a new regulation on something but have to find two regulations to eliminate. How? Is there a list? The whole thing about over-regulation sounds like bs to begin with. I've never read of anything that really describes what they are talking about that businesses are stifled due to the crushing weight of all these regulations. What are they?

I get that. But I think we can use a little rationality and critical thinking to collectively decide. Who do you think is in more danger of losing the majority of their inalienable rights right now? Is it women? The LGBTQ community? Or Muslims? I'm not saying that women and LGBTQ rights are not important. But maybe not as urgent as Muslims who are being pissed on by our govt right now. We have people with valid green cards who have jobs, family, and all kinds of interests here, being banned from entering the country they've called home for YEARS.

It's about strategy. They're bamboozling us by playing a shell game. It's one of the oldest cons in the book. Global warming is a hoax! - Quick which cup is the pea in? 1,2, or 3? - Screw women's rights! - How about now? - Suppress LGBTQ rights! - Whoops! Not there! Haha. Ban Muslims! And if we continue allowing them the use of subterfuge to keep us and the MSM busy rushing from cup to cup chasing one lie and outrageous antic after the other, there's a good chance they succeed in taking over the free world. It's like trying to catch flies with a pitchfork. This is the last I'll say on this I promise. Not only am I far from the smartest person here, but even if I have a point, it's just falling on deaf ears anyway.

One of the functions of the Soros conspiracy is that if police have to use force against these crowds, then everyone on the right can think of them not as fellow Americans with rights, but as opportunists, parasites and frauds.

How about you use those critical thinking skills. The administration has already made a move against women.

Rasmussen Poll 57% support, 33% oppose

Too bad, so sad

That's from before it was actually enacted with green card holders being affected

My father-in-law is a huge trump supporter, evangelist and life-long republican and he said green card holders shouldn't be part of this

It's all BS. But I do have an example:

New regulation:
Starbucks cups must have "Merry Christmas" printed on them in November/December.

Cancelled regulations:
1. Drinking water cannot have lead in it.
2. Children can't work in coal mines.

The way Trump loves conspiracy theories I have no doubt he'd be on board with the Holocaust deniers.

Like I said it wouldn't give them the smoking gun, but it would give them enough confirmation that there is no reasonable doubt left. This isn't money being moved around to dodge some taxes, which isn't sexy or lucrative enough for the involved parties to speak up or leak, this is watergate x10. Of course like you said if they had enough time to prepare they would just set it up so that the people involved are ones they can trust 100%, but I think something of this nature would have a very high relative probability of leaking once more than a handful people are in the know.
The structure that was described in that article make it seem like either: (a) 2.2bn EUR of the bridge loan that was made by the Russian bank was forgiven for the benefit of mystery CaymanCo, which is highly visible to Glencore and Qatar, or (b) mystery CaymanCo actually ponied up 2.2bn EUR to flow through the structure to repay the loan, which doesn't answer the question of where the money came from.

If you were going to use a corrupt scheme to give CaymanCo a share in Rosneft for free, why wouldn't you have the bank lend the proceeds directly to CaymanCo, then contribute them downstream to buy the shares, then just wipe out the loan to CaymanCo?

It's really quite the thing, actually. I don't think I've ever seen someone in the Oval who wasn't the actual President or a visiting head of state not wearing a suit and tie. It's just not done. Military members even have to wear their class A dress uniforms there and on the Hill, yet somehow Bannon looks like a middle manager at trucking company or something.

I wonder what's gonna happen when Trump issues EO on the LGBTQ community.

Is there anyone anywhere not affected by this? The Muslim ban is bad but tons of white people have never met a Muslim so I get why they would support it. But this? Yikes!

DGAF about the majority opinion. If someone posts a reputable poll showing 70/30 Americans in favor of Muslim ban, no one here is gonna be like "aw shucks, I guess the bigots are right after all, and we really should treat Muslims like dog****." It will still be wrong no matter how many bootlickers there are in America.

Well... yeah.

Quote:
“It is with a heavy heart and somber mind that we remember and honor the victims, survivors, heroes of the Holocaust,” Trump’s statement began. “It is impossible to fully fathom the depravity and horror inflicted on innocent people by Nazi terror.”

As critics quickly noted, there was no mention that 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust, or an acknowledgment of the virulent, state-sponsored anti-Semitism that led to their deaths — details that are crucial and commonplace in most discussions of the Holocaust.

Then, on Saturday, the White House said that Jews had been omitted from the statement on purpose because other victims also suffered and died in the Holocaust, an explanation that seemed to minimize the effects of a genocide that killed two-thirds of the Jewish population of Europe. Sen. Tim Kaine called it “Holocaust denial.”

The context here matters. Trump’s most fervent supporters included outspoken anti-Semites, online trolls on the “alt-right” who delighted at tormenting Jewish journalists and public figures. His campaign flirted with anti-Semitic tropes, including tweeting an image of a star of David with Hillary Clinton’s face superimposed on a pile of money. His closing ad warned of a shadowy cabal of bankers and international elites. His son casually used the phrase “warming up the gas chambers” to refer to vociferous criticism.

In each case, Trump and his inner circle refused to back down or apologize, and his anti-Semitic fans interpreted those controversies as coded signals in their favor. Now that he’s president, the same dynamic is playing out around his statement on the Holocaust.
Quote:
As Priebus noted Saturday, Trump’s daughter Ivanka has converted to Judaism, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is an Orthodox Jew and crucial White House adviser. From his life before entering politics, there was little evidence that he had personal animus toward Jews. But during the campaign, he was caught in several controversies involving anti-Semitism.

Trump was slow to denounce KKK leader David Duke. He deployed a meme that imposed a Star of David and Hillary Clinton’s face on top of a pile of money and was widely perceived as anti-Semitic — then refused to back down or apologize. He adopted the phrase “America First,” associated strongly with anti-Semitic isolationism in the United States before World War II. His son, Donald Trump Jr., said that if Republicans had behaved like Hillary Clinton, the media “would be warming up the gas chambers” — an odd choice of phrase that neo-Nazi websites celebrated.

The campaign ad Trump employed to make his closing argument against Hillary Clinton was a collection of anti-Semitic stereotypes, featuring images of George Soros, Janet Yellen, and Goldman Sachs chair Lloyd Blankfein — all Jews — while accusing them of being global special interests who “control the levers of power” and “don’t have your interest in mind.”

Washington state suing Trump.

Washington shouldn't be in the union. They are ruining the rest of America. Sad!
