The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

The general idea right now, in light of everything that's going on, is to continue putting extreme pressure on GOP & Trump until they crack. Trump doesn't crack, but he's clearly frantic, paranoid and starting to bulge. All the GOP Mini-Me Trumps, as good as they are at faking life, aren't nearly as good as Daddy. They will break.

I'm sure there is a motherload of evidence floating around about so many people, like what we're seeing now about Paul Ryan. Putting each individual Republican in legal jeopardy is a better way than 2018 elections (IMO) to get them to turn on Trump. It can also be accomplished sooner, which addresses the urgency of the predicament we're in.

Question: What do you do if you're GOP and the President tells you about a crime he committed, making you an accessory after the fact?

I'm asking because Trump's blabbermouth is capable of doing this over and over to different reps. Who are they gonna run to after that? Sessions? LOL
05-17-2017 , 07:47 PM
MSNBC says Mueller has accepted the position of Special Counsel. Let's see if Sessions unrecuses himself again to stomp this fire out (if he's allowed ((or even not allowed)) to).

EDIT: Triple post. Woo-hoo!

I would have agreed with this several months ago too, but I'm legitimately shocked that this angle might actually be possible with so many of them.

As long as you continue to walk around believing people who don't agree with you are all "****ing morons" and "a special kind of mentally ill-equipped" and then going so far as to tell them that outright, do you REALLY think you'll see a change from the current state of polarization?

You say Republicans are living in an alternate reality, but you refuse to look in the mirror. There are plenty of areas of the country that have been governed exclusively be democrats for decades that are just as bad if not worse than any backwoods hicksville you picture when thinking about Trump supporters.

Take a break from smelling your own farts and think about why 63 million people voted for Trump. The answer is not because they are all, "uninformed and aggressively ignorant" like you claim.
Sorry but the days of couching people being grossly ignorant and stupid as just being a difference of opinion is long gone.

There is plenty of traditional partisan politics that do represent a real difference in opinion but it has been entirely washed away by a tsunami of ignorance and stupidity. What the trump administration is doing is not comparable in any way to previous administrations. It is uniquely disastrous and as long as people like yourself live in denial you are absoluteky going to be properly labeled stupid and ignorant.

Have any Europeans or Americans who have lived in Europe see Michael Moore's documentary "Where to Invade Next"?

Is Europe really the way Michael Moore depicts it? Free health care, free university, great lunches, excellent schooling systems, everyone is always happy etc..

Or did he conveniently leave out a lot of the current problems in Europe like unemployment etc.. ?

Watching the documentary really got me depressed that I live in a country where 2 weeks of vacation is considered "good"

WASHINGTON—Responding to a damning Washington Post report alleging he had shared highly classified information with Russian officials, President Donald Trump addressed the concerns of the press, his fellow government officials, and the public at large Tuesday by announcing that he was an incredibly stupid human being. “I am a big idiot,” said the president, adding that the reason he always messes everything up is that he is a dumb moron who doesn’t know better. “I do a lot of things that don’t make sense and are bad, and that’s because I don’t understand much. If I was smart, I would do stuff better, but I’m not. I’m really, really stupid.” The commander in chief added that it was probably best if somebody stopped him from doing dumb things all the time because he was too stupid to know how.

It's really really obvious that the worst damage is being held back by the FBI to avoid jeopardizing their investigation. You can bet when it comes down, it will come down like Thor's hammer. On lots of people.

That said, we don't know what the rest of the investigations, or the IC, or the AGs/IGs, Treasury, Grand Juries, lower courts are working on, or if they have been coordinating with the FBI or each other. Also, leakers are rampant right now. Keep in mind also also that the majority of the country is on our side and helping out.

The ONLY way to escape all of this is a coordinated effort from Trump & Republicans to impede investigations, stack the government, lie under oath, in other words cheat heavily and/or break laws. With the current amount of scrutiny, this is virtually impossible. The R side of the government is frozen right now, waiting for shoe after shoe to drop. I don't think they like it.

Seriously it takes stupidness to a new level to label Russia as an ally. If you listed every country in the world in terms of relationships with the US, Russia would be in the bottom five just above Iran.

Iran isn't beating the war drums like Russia.

Apparently Comey would only testify publicly in front of congress but now isn't going to testify publicly at all. Nobody trusts congressional investigations to not selectively leak.

Sure, there are the Paul Ryans who are the modern day Petains of the world. However, when you have guys like Kasich, McCain, and ladies like Collins basically saying they have had enough AIDS from the WH, you're foolish to think others in their party aren't listening to them and will be willing to stomp out the trash fire in the WH if it means they get to rule the country in a more quiet fashion with Pence or whoever.
lol @ Kasich saving the Republic. Kasich was on air this week lecturing Bernie about calling Donald Trump a liar. Dude has no dick, no balls, just a Ken doll situation. When push comes to shove, he kisses the ring like all the others. The best you'll get out of these weasels is declining to support. They won't actually oppose.

Yep. Trump would go up there with specific instructions to take the 5th from his lawyers, and that'd last about 2 questions before he started whining about how unfair the questions were and how all he did was [whatever the **** he's trying to cover up]
