It's obv 'representative.' If most people in their district are not riotous about the recent turn of events - in fact - if most outright deny the reality of current events, then R pols apathy and denial is not only wholly allowed, it's actually in line with the way democracy is supposed to work.

The fundamental issue here goes back to the Einbert post I quoted, which is that America has become ridiculously polarized to the point where Person A in the South and Person B in the West can't even agree to what 2+2 is equal to. Republicans are living in an alternate reality that threatens every tenet of democracy as we know it

I wish the mods hadn't deleted your other post, because there's some useful introspection to be had between that one and this one.

As long as you continue to walk around believing people who don't agree with you are all "****ing morons" and "a special kind of mentally ill-equipped" and then going so far as to tell them that outright, do you REALLY think you'll see a change from the current state of polarization?

You say Republicans are living in an alternate reality, but you refuse to look in the mirror. There are plenty of areas of the country that have been governed exclusively be democrats for decades that are just as bad if not worse than any backwoods hicksville you picture when thinking about Trump supporters.

Take a break from smelling your own farts and think about why 63 million people voted for Trump. The answer is not because they are all, "uninformed and aggressively ignorant" like you claim.

You can kinda see how this criticism doesn't seem like it's being made in good faith.
You left czars off the list. I can remember back in 2009 talking to a friend of mine who is a FOX addict. Every time they released another Czar story he was freaking out, "WTF how can he do this? Russia had czars! How can he be appointing them here?"

I **** you not.

the vast majority of them are racist and uneducated?

the rest hoped for a small tax break

That may be so, but you voted for Trump

Lol, right. Conservatives always treat liberals with the utmost respect and never with insults or accusations that they live in a bubble, and that is why conservatives win.
05-17-2017 , 01:06 PM
lol at Inso implying he wouldn't have still voted for Trump if someone other than Hillary had been the Dem nominee

dude, you (and most of the rest of those 63 million who voted for Trump) spent 8 years in a teeth-grinding rage over America electing a black president. We know what you're about.

Guy admits he voted for Trump because he was foolish and ignorant, refuses to believe that others voted for Trump because they were foolish or ignorant as well.

Seems legit.

Problem is the deplorables will very likely stop voting for them and at least 50% of the GOP needs the deplorables on their side. Then the fact that if he's impeached they are completely f'd in 18 for image reasons as well as the voting reasons. So what is the breaking point? I'm guessing it's going to be a broken dam situation where one of these spineless ****s in leadership finally breaks rank then they all go in and leak a bunch of personal Trump stuff to the media in hopes of being able to say "it was just Trump!!!"

Anyways, this is going to be fun. Every 12 hours we get a story that would carry on for 6 months+ on FOX if it was Obama.
IMO, every once in a while you just have to clean house and start over. At some point, the GOP will have to cut Trump aside. I would think for political purposes, it's better to do it before 2018. Just take the hit and regroup for 2020. But these greedy ****s are just hellbent on tax cuts they refuse to do the logical thing.

Then again, you get guys like Inso saying the US and Russia are allies. So why compromise? Voters like Inso are voting GOP 100% of the time.

It's ridiculous that we're talking about the need for the GOP to clean house and start over. They control the presidency, the house, and the senate. I think their current strategy is pretty good if thats what they care about.

Inso posted, at length, at how his local public schools are bad because they are overrun with 5th graders who are IMPOSSIBLE to control. Dude is legit scared of 10 year olds.

You can't. It's willful stupidity. He WANTS to believe that Hillary broke all kinds of rules about classified information, so he believes it even though there's really no evidence. You can't beat that with a conversation or dialogue or even "really good socratic questions." He WANTS to be misinformed and so he will be. This is why "having a dialogue" with people like Milo or Ann Coulter is incredibly misguided. They don't want to have a dialogue with us. They want to throw us into the ovens, and at this rate they may soon have their chance.

Sure, but these were notes written nearly contemporaneously and data-entered into a system that timestamped them. So the question would be, back in February, why would Comey have made this up?

US special forces were beloved around the world before hillary killed bin laden

TIL announcing that you killed the most wanted person in the country for nearly a decade = spiking the football.

McCain "clarifies" his Watergate comparison

lol @ anyone who thinks this old cuck is going to do a ****ing thing
05-17-2017 , 01:25 PM
When the GOP spiked the football, it wasn't because they helped people. It was because they got one step closer to killing millions of Americans by stealing their health insurance.

Huh?

Are you suggesting Obama announced to the world that the Seal Team 6 was en route to kill Bin Laden?

I'm on record as pulling the lever against HRC, not for Trump. I am certainly not alone.

I have no love lost for Trump, but I realize the alternative was decades of liberal activism in the SCOTUS, and who the hell knows what else.

It's also important to note that his very posting here is meant to rile us up, get us all angry and outraged at his insanity, and distract us from the very real issues at hand.

In response, here's a very important thread on slavery:
