While I agree this story is esoteric, I think it does have some effect for a few reasons:

1. The headline itself is pretty simple. "Trump leaks highly classified info to Russia".
2. This article has been posted here a bunch. It describes how to persuade conservatives using their values. I think a story like this (and really the whole Russia story) helps chip away at Trump's image among non-brainwashed conservatives because of the disloyalty angle.
3. It involves Israel.

Hilarious if true. I doubt it is, but you never know with this clown.

Those factors will override Trump's amateurishness in the minds of many and anti Trumpers should realize that overemphasizing his error could backfire.
Lol. You don't have a girlfriend.

There's not even a blue check!

Was trying to come up with a funny Sklanskyism and arrived at "It's good North Korea launched a nuke at Japan, now we can get back to American-made cars and electronics", then got a sad realizing that this would be the immediate reaction of 30-40% of the population here. They might get mad if prices went up, though that would just be blamed on big government and taxes.

Rogue Steve Bannon just tweeted that he's going to livestream his self-immolation in 5 minutes

Probably not true. I'm just sharing it here just in case, guys

Just when I thought my man crush on Jake Tapper couldn't get any bigger he goes and does this. Definitely gonna leave a mark.

Yeah the headline "Trump spills secrets to Russia" and all variants is one of the clearest Trump scandal headlines. And its directly related to his job performance as POTUS unlike the Access Hollywood/conflict of interest headlines

You can't actually drive all the way there. The road ends in Panama because of the Darian Gap.

There are a whole lot more Guilfoyles in the general consciousness than I would've predicted.

I wonder if this "Rogue WH staffer" might be Trump himself? (Ha! Ha!) It's not out of the realm of possibility ... After all, Trump has (in the past) called New York tabloid writers attempting to portray himself as some other person while commenting on a newspaper story about himself. (In other words, it's not beyond Trump's capabilities to "fake" himself!)

Obviously there was a bit more revealed, as evidenced that intel folks went ape**** and WaPo reported they were told to keep parts out of the story, but not told to keep the word "laptop" out of the story
The main thing to realize is that because Trump could have conceivably saved the lives of 200 or so innocent airline passengers, they will forgive his technical error, especially given that others in the room said it was no big deal and that Israel is stating the same thing (whether they mean it or not.) To pile on at this point is bad strategy.

donald trump is the weakest president ever elected to any nation in the history of the world

it really is never ending

Trump asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn
05-16-2017 , 05:35 PM
“I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Comey, according to the memo. “He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”

Mr. Trump told Mr. Comey that Mr. Flynn had done nothing wrong, according to the memo.
Mr. Comey did not say anything to Mr. Trump about curtailing the investigation, only replying: “I agree he is a good guy.”

My god
05-16-2017 , 05:38 PM
And I was worrying that things may die down.
05-16-2017 , 05:39 PM
Trump told Comey to consider putting journalists in prison who publish classified info

GREAT SHOW, REPUBLICANS

US: Hey Russians, we heard there was a plot to explode laptops on planes. Better watch our for that, yo!

Russians: Oh? Who and where did you hear that from?

Which is at the point where even a stupid person would say, whoa, I can't tell you the details, sorry. Instead we have Trump who basically gave them the spy's phone number. It's kind of a big deal.

Also, how ****ing stupid is Trump for firing Comey? All of this **** is coming out because of pissed off FBI people.

Massive LOLOLOL at the child Huckabee for saying countless FBI agents were happy Comey was fired.

How could Trump have saved these lives? I'd think that having your inside sources killed is generally a bad thing in the prevention of plots against you.
