The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who said he couldn’t look his daughter in the eye if he votes for Donald Trump, is voting for Trump

That's what's so incredible here, the weird omerta the media has had about calling Trump dumb finally pays off with a very real chance that someone is going to get ****ing MURDERED because...

Trump wanted to show off about how much intel he gets. He was bragging about how cool it is to be President to the ****ing Russians.

Headline: TRUMP TAKES A DUMP ON HUCKABEE SANDERS FACE/CURRENTLY RUNNING AROUND OUTSIDE WEARING ONLY A BUTT PLUG

McCain: I'm mildly concerned but the president does have the right to do that.

Pelosi is so tilting
05-15-2017 , 09:24 PM
Honestly Trump could cancel the 2018 elections and the reaction from Republicans would be about the same.
05-15-2017 , 09:25 PM
Trump meant to leak to Russians, but knew dumb liberals would just blame it it on his incompetence and stupidity. 4D chess!
05-15-2017 , 09:29 PM
He really has carved out a sweet spot between, "too dumb to be held accountable" yet "smart enough that we don't have to remove him from the Presidency"
05-15-2017 , 09:41 PM
Guys Trump didn't leak classified info to the Russians because (like the president can't have a conflict of interest) he can't leak classified info. He simply retroactively declassified it. Checkmate.

There is NOTHING he can do for republicans to turn.

He could say "black lives matter"

I love how the daily briefings aren't important enough for Trump but he's qualified enough to share classified information in the WH with Russia.*

I mean obviously this is a huge deal but unfortunately it's the easiest "But Hillary did it!" ever

At least Hannity openly embraces he's a shill and not a journalist unlike so many others at his network.

Was going to write something like this. This "leak" to the Russians does not concern me near as much as firing Comey, or most of Trump's cabinet appointments, incompetence, staff, dementia, lack of policy knowledge, reflexive lying, etc. This story is bad optics, to be sure, but the appointment of Sessions for AG was 100x worse.

Intelligence community, media, intel committees, social media, Democrats spend months trying to answer the most damning question of whether candidate Trump colluded with the Russians, while PRESIDENT Trump actively colludes with the Russians. Awesome.
05-15-2017 , 10:32 PM
Sessions for AG is worse, sure, but it certainly doesn't cost Trump any support. I don't know who this costs Trump, but perhaps it emboldens some Republicans who might think Pence would be better. Also if you piss off all kinds of spies, then maybe they release incriminating stuff or other things that spy agencies have done throughout history.

Fortunately (that I would like to believe in some "justice" sort of way) both big and small reports tie in together when trying to make sense of the whole story. Smaller reports sometimes later turn out to be more important than we first thought.
