The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Especially when bannon/spicer/etc have no actual power. Losing them changes nothing about the Trump admin.

Sessions on the other hand...

Firing someone won't help policy because any new hires will suck just as bad. As much turmoil as possible is good though. In 2018 and 2020 the list of people fired, indicted, convicted and unfilled positions will be part of the picture of a failing administration.

These aren't just people, they're Trump's decisions.

Every last one of them, even Bannon, will simply be replaced with another piece of **** stooge. Trump is the only constant. It's like hating on Tucker Carlson or something. Yes, conceded, he is a total clown worthy of scorn and derision, but the real problem is the network, not him.

Yeah, remember when libs threw a party over O'Reilly getting ousted? Carlson is doing the same ****ing shtick.

So we're supposed to not criticise Trump admin officials because that criticism is helping Trump?

Steve Bannon, smart guy, good for America, too bad he got mixed up with Trump.

Spicey/press secretary/any media mouthpiece in general and I can see it's silly to bother. No one thinks they do anything other than flounder around defending Trump and deflecting.

The benefit of firing is not that he will hire better people. It's a clock killer. Firing people and then rehiring, getting them confirmed (in cases where it is necessary), and getting them up to speed all takes time. This further slows down the Trump machine, which isn't actually efficient by any means, but anything to slow it down further is a net positive.

That big "victory" of getting Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the Russia investigation isn't working out so well now either.

I know. Let's impeach Trump. Duh.

I still don't understand why Democrats aren't still on every single cable news show demanding Sessions resign. He never came back to correct his testimony, and he obviously is still involved in matters related to Russia because he's helping pick the new FBI Director. Why did Democrats just give up on that? What kind of strategy is this?

You have a point about Democrats, but it's not just up to them. If cable news doesn't feel like Sessions is that compelling you're not going to hear much about it.

I mean be realistic. How do you think a Mike "Mutants aren't People" Pence Presidency is going to go? It's not going to be that much better.
05-14-2017 , 11:45 AM
It is compelling! He LIED in his confirmation hearings about matters of sensitive national security. How is that not compelling? That's better than a ****ing John Grisham novel. If cable news channels aren't interested in that we have some serious problems.

There is no reason to think she isn't a bernie supporter. She's obviously not smart or even coherent, but by that standard there isn't a "genuine Bernie supporter" in this forum.

Enough with the sympathy for Trump's people. They are not slaves. The are choosing to help him. They deserve everything and more that is happening, as does the next group and the next and the next.

Yeah it wouldn't. Pence never wins in 2020 though.

Agree with you, but I mean, there's just so much else to cover.

I don't know if people were having sympathy for them or not, but this is true. No person of conscience should be willing to work for Trump. Every political appointee who accepts is a piece of ****.

It's the exact same strategy they've been using for decades - being totally ****ing inept.

That was good.
When this is all over I fully expect Obama to come out and say how often he ****ed up in 2016. Not releasing info about Trumps ties with Russia during the election in order to keep an air of fairness about the election is his biggest blunder. People trusted him, and his approval numbers were good. Releasing the info he had access to was imperative, but Democratic officials are the weakest bunch of losers in history. Grow a ****ing spine

Jeff Merkley is calling for Jefferson Sessions to resign. Do you think he is refusing to show up on cable news or he's not invited?

The reason for celebration isn't that America is saved, it's schadenfreude over the public humiliation of a PoS human. Imagine if George Zimmerman went to jail for buying weed. Racism still as prevalent as ever, criminal justice system still not great, but wouldn't you celebrate anyway just cause **** him?

How am I not smart? Please oh intelligent one, tell me of my dumb ways. You all are so obsessed with your side being right, you can't take both sides for what it is.

You can disagree with me, but to call me stupid because we share different views is a reflection of you not me.
