**** that.

The lesson from this election was not that celebrities with no political experience would make good presidents.

If he really wants into politics, fine. Start smaller than POTUS and prove yourself. Do what Al Franken did.

So obviously Micro's take. Way more coherent in his older interviews

Talk about backwards world. Earlier today, I was dreaming about Kim Jong-Un decapitating our regime.

Listening to that interview I'd go against dementia. He just sounds like he's 30 years older. He's what? 40 there? Now he sounds like a 70 year old guy.

The average, college educated 70 year old is way more lucid than the Big Orange.

You're either happy with that or you were wrong to oppose Hillary, hard to see the middle ground there. No normalizing! He's not just using a chipper these first 115 days.

Religious speech at Liberty University this morning. Then *poof* he was gone. No clue where he is now. Check the Aztec Tomb.

Well yea. I'm just saying take this babbling at 40, add 30 years and you'd get what he sounds like now. I'd hesitate to give it something as grand as dementia when it sounds like he's just an older version of his younger non coherent self.

This. Starting at POTUS is absurd.

Separate sources with links to the intelligence and justice communities have stated that a sealed indictment has been granted against Donald Trump.

While it is understood that the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution means that, until Mr. Trump is impeached, he cannot be prosecuted, sources say that the indictment is intended by the FBI and prosecutors in the Justice Department to form the basis of Mr. Trump’s impeachment. The indictment is, perhaps uniquely, not intended or expected to be used for prosecution, sources say, because of the constitutional position of the President.

I'm a loser, so I'm rewatching the Yates Clapper hearing on a Saturday night. I could be wrong, but 1000% this is what set Trump off in a headspin this week. He was "normal" before the hearing and just lost his mind after it, starting with firing Comey, continuing with confessing to obstruction and threatening him, and the rest of the lunacy.

I'm also pretty sure the money is what's doing it all too. Flynn is a good part of that. So is Manafort apparently. We should keep our eye on Trump's reaction to him as well.

Continuing to needle Trump about his most sensitive issues and watching him rattle around making mistakes until the GOP is threatened enough to evict him seems like the optimal strategy here.

EDIT: Indictments are a good strategy too. Getting Trump under oath would be a mortal lock.
05-13-2017 , 10:17 PM
Yea I can totally see Trump seeing Yates on TV and jumping to the conclusion that Comey must be fired.

Absolutely. If he's gonna act like a 5 year old, treat him like a 5 year old.

Don't expect anything to happen to Trump. Focus on the local level and getting people elected. If we can turn the House Blue in 2018, that's our best chance to neuter Trump until we can elect somebody else to President in 2020. Anything else is wishful thinking at this point.

Louise Mensch is not a reliable source btw.

Einbert, wishful thinking is necessary when the urgency is this great. We can take shots at him now and work hard at a blue 2018 concurrently. As a matter of fact, the more shots we land, the better chance there is of a blue 18.

And like I said earlier today, back then he's relaxed and just being a B-list celebrity who luck boxed into a ****load of money. Now he's POTUS and constantly being told that he's an incompetent jackass in way over his head and that 80% of the world absolutely hates him. And he might be guilty of treason. That more than adequately explains any transition from babbling idiot to slightly more disjointed babbling idiot.

Say you have knowledge of secret indictments and prosecutions and you wanna leak the info

You think about who to pick, let's see main street media no, respectable journalists no, reputable foreign papers no, I got it let's pick the crazy lady on twitter. LEVEL FOUR CHESS.

Trump taking down Clinton with him (via everyone's favorite scandal) would be hilarious.

Take shots at him but don't count on winning through impeachment. Even if you cut off the head of the snake, the line of succession is long and evil and not too much better.
05-13-2017 , 10:30 PM
And the other thing is, you'll never ever remove him from office via impeachment. He could shoot someone on fifth avenue with HD video crews all over the place, and you couldn't get 67 Senators to convict him on it. It's just not going to happen. We have to face reality.
