I'd be afraid of making a post like this if I were you. By next year, Jeff Sessions might be going after all the "dangerous" "not good people" who ever broke federal law and smoked marijuana. Unmasking an IP to retroactively go after the user could be common practice before 2020.

Is there a typical progression?
None. Some people get to stage 7 faster than others. Some medications can be taken to minimize the symptoms but it doesn't get at the source and physically slow down the degeneration of your brain.

Both of my grandparents on my mother's side had dementia. Both were diagnosed at about the same time but one declined way faster. They also had different symptoms due to what parts of their brain were most affected. However, they both died only a few months apart from each other. So, the progression and symptoms are greatly varied and no two conditions are exactly alike which makes it so hard to come up with new solutions and treatments.

It's a horrifying way to end your life. You're basically a prisoner trapped in your body. At the end, the only thing you can do is wait to die. I hate Trump but even I'd be hard-pressed to wish dementia onto him. Not just because I've seen its effects firsthand but also because it's not like he'll stop being POTUS because of dementia. He's gonna be in there long after he forgets his own name.

What's wrong with melatonin?

I built up a massive tolerance to that pretty quick. I was up to 5mg in a few months. Also it helps me fall asleep but doesn't keep me asleep. My problem is I'd wake up from ~3-5am every night. It really sucked.

Melatonin + xanax would knock me out - but I'd wake up feeling like total ****. I don't like that feeling at all. Not into downers.

You and me both, man. I am hoping that our country comes to terms with end of life choice by that time.

I'll just fall off half-dome or something.

Visitors to Trump’s office have often recounted moments that indicated that someone outside the office was listening to their conversations.

Last spring, when two Post reporters visited Trump in his office for another interview, Trump, in the middle of telling a story about how he demolished the Manhattan landmark that had stood where Trump Tower is now, asked his guests if they would like something to drink.

In the same quiet voice in which he’d been conducting the interview, Trump said, “Okay, two waters and a Coke.” The interview resumed and less than a minute later, a secretary walked in with the drinks. No one other than the reporters and Trump had been in the office. And Trump never signaled the drink request to anyone outside the office.

I know I posted after your post, but left my statement a little general. Fwiw, if you voted for Stein in a really really blue state, then w/e I don't really care other than thinking Stein wasn't a very good candidate herself. Certainly you can fight Trump.

There have been studies showing that the quantity and quality of melatonin in over-the-counter supplements is all over the place. Here is a recent one:

https://www.sciencedaily.com/release...0214162728.htm

When I was younger I was often sleep-deprived because of work or school. Sometimes I'd be driving to work and find myself at a red light, not remembering how I got there. I finally just said **** it, and started sleeping as much as I felt like I needed. It made a noticeable difference in my ability to focus and learn. Not to mention it might have kept me alive.

Trazodone has worked wonders for me re: sleep

While we're all speculating, I've got Trump as an idiot who is declining with age.

Whether you want to call that decline "dementia" or not I think is unimportant. I think that many may be loath to use that term because of the connotations, but my guess is that he has at least some mild dementia.

What I'm unsure of is which is the bigger factor in his incompetence these days, but lean I more towards the not being very smart (in the traditional sense) rather than the dementia.

Sessions and Rosenstein are interviewing candidates for new FBI director today.

Another good question for Spicey yesterday would have been, "When is Jeff Sessions recused from Russia and when isn't he?"

My anticonvulsants cause insomnia. Combine that with my anxiety issues and it's a problem.

I can't take sleeping pills because they increase my likelihood of having a seizure and leave me with a brutal sleep hangover. I was hallucinating while on Ambien. Melatonin didn't work for me. When I did sleep, I had some freaky dreams and not in a good way. 1/2 a dose of Benadryl knocks me the **** out for 12 hours but again an increase in possible seizure activity plus sleep hangover left me feeling like ****.

My improvements have come from meditation before sleep combined with listening to Sleep With Me Podcast. It's a boring guy with a boring voice telling boring, incoherent stories. Imagine Ben Stein reading a dictionary to you. It's that effective for me. Just knocks you out.

Not sure if they'd work for a scatterbrain like Trump but they do for me.

Who cares what exact ailment Trump has. He 100% has narcissistic personality disorder, which by itself explains most everything.
05-13-2017 , 03:51 PM
If Sessions should happen to run into legal trouble, I hope prosecutors remember to follow his charging and sentencing policy.

I would like to think I'm a fairly principled person, but I would absolutely, and completely without shame or reservation, explode with glee if Jeff Sessions got captured and tortured for eternity. **** that guy.

No it doesn't. Specifically it doesn't explain his incompetence. And that's a big enough aspect of his rule that we can't just cover it with your "most everything" qualifier.

I know several high functioning people who are at least on the NPD spectrum. They're clearly full of themselves, and while they're not as smart as they think, they're still pretty smart.

Someone with Trumps goals, NPD, and greater intellect, would be a ****ing nightmare. We should be thankful for his stupidity.

Just to clarify one last time: Trump is immune from prosecution of any crime he ever committed in his life, or in the future?

If not, what are the exceptions?

While he's president he can be impeached and removed from office for all sorts of crimes. It's just that a GOP controlled congress is almost certainly not going to do it. Once he is removed, then a lot of his protections disappear.

Careful, laughing at Jeff Sessions is apparently a crime now.

Have those with sleep problems looked into changing your diet or times you eat? Eating after 6-8pm can affect your sleep. Also really dark curtains can help. I am sure there are tons of other remedies that are worth trying before going the prescription route.

I have personally used diet and acupuncture to heal graves disease, regulate my period and most recently get pregnant. My diet is kind of extreme now as I don't eat beef, chicken or milk.
